Great vlog of Southern Iceland. You covered all the basics well and showed the more popular destinations. The great thing about Southern Iceland is there are many more things you can see than what you’ve shown, some even better. Shame the weather wasn’t so good for you, but that’s Iceland for you 🌧️💨 I’ve been lucky to visit this wonderful country 7 times with an 8th coming in under 2 weeks. If you do come back definitely do the ring road as it’s a trip like no other 👍🇮🇸❤️

Hi, thank you for the wonderful and informatic sharing. I am just wondering whether we need to let the car running when we want to have heater or air-conditioning? And how about charging point? Does it come together with the van?
@OntarioCamping7 ай бұрын
You don't need AC in Iceland. Heater has an extra battery pack to you don't have to keep it running

Love how you appreciate the beauty of Iceland. And your descriptions in written form are really sweet. Would love to get the names of all the campgrounds you stayed at (got some names not all) and whether you needed a reservation. Your video was really super helpful. Thank you for taking the time to make it.

Awesome Video...Thanks for sharing! We're heading to Iceland in September. Are drones banned at most of the main sites? I have the original mavic pro...trying to use this trip as justification for an upgrade!! :)
@OntarioCamping Жыл бұрын
Thank you, yes drones are prohibited at most of the major falls and attractions, however there is so much beautiful nature in Iceland where you can fly your drone.. Make sure you follow the drone rules

So, the waterfalls, hot springs, campgrounds that require a fee to get in only excepts local currency, or can you use a credit card?
@OntarioCamping5 ай бұрын
We never used cash anywhere, only credit cards. Now I know there are a few exceptions in Iceland, we just never encountered them on our trip

Does all of this campsites offer a chance to see Northern Lights if the weather is good ?
@OntarioCamping Жыл бұрын
Yes and no, it's very situational, however the further away from light pollution the better. Also keep in mind that the northern lights are typically only active during the winter/early spring and fall season and many campgrounds are closed
