@@gareyclark Yes. Unfortunately, the pandemic affected a lot of local sellers that depended on tourism. I was in Placencia the other day and all the local curio shops were shut and it broke my heart. I know tour guides with no jobs now. But it is picking up now, and hopefully with the vaccine out it will start getting busy. The Belizean people has been soo strong this past year. Belize is absolutely peaceful and free of stress. Everything there is incredible. Never have I been to an island like San Pedro. The people are incredibly nice the views are breathtaking. The scuba diving is amazing like nowhere else. And of course the food can’t go unsaid that it is absolutely amazing (and cheap.) My father owns property over there so I get to go every year. Great video! I love San Pedro and although am moving to Placencia will be travelling back and forth as am touring tours helping people decide where to settle. If you come to Belize, it would be great to meet! Now that tourism is busier, golf cart rentals are more expensive sometimes even $75/day although I have a guy that is still better.

There is a jet ski hire, you can also google raggamuffin tours if they are open, you can also feed the tarpon fishes at the back (the intro of my Caye Caulker video) and you can also ask about shark ray ally. Or you can just go and chill at the split (lazy lizard) or koko king. Just ask and you will be pointed in the right direction. You might see me there.

Yes, the weather this morning is not encouraging but I hope it warms up later or maybe tmrw. We were actually warned about a cold front coming in. Water taxi is perfect. You get to enjoy the view of the ocean. If the weather stays like this, just wrap up warm and take a stroll around the island, it's still therapeutic.

Hello Stephanie, thanks very much for the kind words. No you don't have to book them in advance. Cart company reps will be at the water taxi station waiting to transport customers to their offices. If not you can get a taxi to one of the cart rentals to pick up your cart.

Belize has got approx 280Km coastline from north to south. It's area is about 22,966 km cube. Majority of Belizean speak Creole and Spanish. Belize is a commonwealth country (British colony ). They've been self-governing since 1964 and independent since 1981 but have a governor general that represent the Queen (Queen Elizabeth II). In my opinion, tourism in Belize is a growing one. A lot of tourist I met; until coming to Belize; hadn't even heard of it before. It is an uncovered gem. Thank you for reaching out.
