Oh and this is Zac. He is currently developing a series motorsport wiring courses. Let me know how you think he did with this video. He seems to be pretty smart, should we keep him on? - Ben

Isn't there a course on wiring by Rywire already ?
@hpa1016 жыл бұрын
There is YeoZy, but we're redoing that as with Zac now onboard as a fulltime tutor we can devote a lot more time and detail to it and future courses, as well as having Zac on hand to help members on the forum and social media channels. Ryan from Rywire did a great course, but he's is a very busy man with his own business and family on the other side of the planet so we thought this would be better for our HPA members, in the long run, to commit to having someone like Zac on staff here =) - Taz.

Can't judge a guy on his first video.. Like Ben said, he probably was a bit revved up with expectation of doing a great job which he succeeded. Looking forward to his lessons!

Zac did great and will only get better 🙂 Can’t wait for the Motorsport/advanced wiring courses! Please show more practical not just, here it is already done. The first course was great but very rushed at the end. Great work guys love what your doing 😀
@hpa1016 жыл бұрын
We're redoing the entire first course as well as we also think that we can do a better job of it now too after feedback similar to your own here. If you already own it the update is done for you for free & Zac has already started filming it :) Much excite! The next course will be a step by step custom loom creation amongst other content. 2018 is going to be a big year for Zac! - Taz.

Hi please confirm if it will work with link G4+ extreme
@hpa1016 жыл бұрын
I believe this shouldn't be a problem, but honestly with questions like this, you are best to go straight to the source and it is what I would do myself to check. Both Link and AEM have excellent customer support and forums from what I have personally seen. No one knows a product like those that manufacture them - Taz.

So this uses the usual j1962 connector and SAE j1850 protocol? Pretty versatile datalogger/display with all the right features, if the price is good as well, then this is a must for competition racing cars.
@hpa1016 жыл бұрын
G'day Marios. AEM sell a cable that does indeed use the J1962 connector, but it interfaces to the CANBus protocol pins, not the J1850 pins. Makes the dash super easy to install in any modern car with a standard ODB2 interface. - Zac.
@MariosEvoCy6 жыл бұрын
Good day to you too my friend. My question Zac was weather the CD-7L uses the obd2 protocol also besides the area network one, as obviously any real time data display device does that through the CAN access pins. But cheers as you've answered my question anyway.

We have all of our courses online. Zac has an Electrical Engineering degree and experience with a luxury open wheel car design and manufacturing company, and Andre has years of practical experience wiring, building and tuning world-class high performance engines. They make a great team =) If you think you'd like to learn from HPA email me, let me know what your goals are and I'll help you find what we have to help you reach them - support@hpacademy.com - Taz.
