The thing I found awkward about the parsun was not having an offset handle and having to shift the mount to the port side of the transom to be comfortable in my square backed canoe. Wish they would redesign with an offset for either side.

The Parsun looks like a cheaper plasticy version of the ePropulsion Spirit, which is built al lot more solid. Wondering how ePropulsion compares in price with the Parsun.

Looks like you forget to lock the battery for Torqeedo, that's why the battery is coming out when you try to pull motor up.
