the small lamp helps flash cure the gelx tip in place, it would be difficult to do that in a large lamp!

Yes, I used this with nail glue even before trying it with gel x. It's even easier to remove than gel x but you won't get the lasting power. My nails hold product extremely well and I get about 7 days with glue on's.

i too use this with nail glue! just be sure to wipe the uncured tacky layer off the base gel first before adding glue or itll slide off.

Yes, I use cuticle oil religiously- day and night. My gel x last for 2 weeks, easily. The Jello Jello set is AMAZING!!!

Can u use on natural nail AND gel x?

Yes but there is no need to do on top of the gel x tip because you will simply remove the whole nail when it's time for them to come off. If you want to be able to reapply gel/change design on top of the gel x don't use the Jello Jello on the nail plate. However, then you will have to soak off the gel x.

I just bought this product from you but my nails popped off the next day....what remover liquid did you use? I can't get them to last more than a day or two even after re-applying. How do you get them to last that long?

Hi! I use the dehydrator from IBD and primer from Young Nails. If you're having lifting issues, make sure the nail plate is clean, pushed back, and dehydrated. Primer you can do up to 2 coats. I'd also make sure the cuticles are flush once you go in with gel and ensure that there's no spillage of gel to the cuticles or the sides because that will also cause lifting. Let me know if that helps!

@@kwystle I tried that. Some of the nails are staying on but 4 of them popped off. It's very frustrating because I have to keep attaching them over and over. I don't know why some are sticking and some aren't. Any other advice you can give will be greatly appreciated.

@@Danielisima76 are the nail tips/natural nails etched/buffed well? If the nail tips or the natural nails have any smoothness it will pop off. Other than that, if your nail prep is how I do it, are your hands in water a lot? That may affect longevity. I do dishes with gloves and in general try to keep my hands dry.

@@kwystle I try to etch them but it seems like buffing them makes the natural nail smoother. I also try to etch the nails tips but I can't tell if they're etching because they're already pre-designed, not clear like yours. Do you offer a live class via zoom?

@@Danielisima76 I don't offer classes since I am not a professional, but I'm happy to continue troubleshooting via email ([e-mail]) It sounds like you're trying to cure pre-designed press ons which is not recommended since it can lead to potentially developing allergic reactions. UV lights wouldn't be able to fully cure a pre-designed nail tip/presson. Try it out on a clear nail and see if your experience changes :)
