I've been doing this consistently for almost 5 years with over 800 videos, and when I kept seeing these pop-ups that YT is on Easy Mode, I really thought that there was some new YT feature that was being introduced that I missed.🤔 Nothing easy about making this long form content, or my short form content for that matter on this platform. So friends, if you're passionate about it and really believe that you have a space in this vast KZbin world, then be prepared to spend hours on a video from concept to delivery. Once you become more comfortable as a YT creator, it will probably become less difficult as your knowledge and understanding increases, but EASY, absolutely NOT! That has been my experience and I THANK YOU for starting this narrative.

You shouldn’t be comparing others success with your own. Especially if you are just starting. Work on your titles first then once those start hitting , your thumbnails. You should be focusing on long from content more than shorts. Shorts don’t make YT money, long form does. You make money when YT makes money.

Easy mode just means that small channels land on recommended page more than in the years before. When your Thumbnail, title and video are trash, you can't succeed. Of course you have to deliver quality in some way. So yes, it is easier to be seen right now. Everything else is on you!
