Yay you got my fav cereal! It goes down to $5.50 every 3-4 weeks or so, so I buy lots of bags then. Also, that cadburys choc special was a killer. I ate so much more than I normally would + Christmas = put on weight 😅

Meat prices aren't much different from those in Australia, but fruit and vegetable prices are cheaper here however I would say that the quality would be better there in NZ.

I LOVE South African canned peaches! They are branded as Pams peaches. They are tangy and do not taste sickly sweet and too soft, like the New Zealand brand -Watties. (Always bought in juice for both types.) Woolworths own brand also uses S.A. P peaches (all canned in SA of course,) but theirs are sweeter.

I always love shopping at PaknSave when I’m back home in NZ, miss the variety of certain things like yogurt that is just terrible here in Japan. Though prices for things may seem expensive in NZ, be thankful you have the option to weigh fruits and vegetables, as opposed to having to enter the number of apples you are buying, for example. FYI apples are pricey in Japan.

@justin.880 We moved out about 9 years ago and we used an agent mainly for the reason that you stated. I haven't heard of the one you were asking about. We used Greenstone Global immigration. They are very good. Might be worth comparing them. Just make sure whoever you use is licensed by INZ. An agent is more expensive, but they make sure you have everything you need and they should stay up to date or even anticipate any changes to the requirements.

When my sisters and I went home we loved Pak n save. They had all our favourite NZ lollies. They had really good ready fresh meals..wish they had them here in Oz. Would give other supermarkets here some competition. The meat is cheaper there. It’s a horrendous price here now. Chocolate is so much cheaper in NZ. It’s $6 here. Ridiculous.

Just looking at the prices compared to Australian prices and your cheese, yogurt, milk and chicken, onions seem to be the same price but your lamb is wayyyy cheaper and it makes sense with all your sheep. Carrots and fresh vegetables seem to be double the price of Australia but I only had a quick look at your video.....I come from a family that kills plants but I grew some silverbeet and anything youtube tells me is easy so U might want to try this. I only have a small yard.

I just want to draw your attention to on line veg and fruit shop called Farmers Box.They have amazing deals every week .Like this week mango was 99 cents and tomatoes were 1.89 per kg. Lots more. They often have action for free freight but are also affordable if you pay freight. It gets even cheaper if you can pair with friend. They deliver swiftly and quality is amazing. I am still in mourning that I now live in BOP where they do not deliver :( Good video Thanks for sharing. Cheers

That would be 194.85 here even if we had high prices. Salary is also much higher here, and comes with benefits even if you are not college educated. Most people I worked with before I retired (I have no college education) were making around $260,000 a year (in NZ dollars), $150k in USD.

I don't know. People say that food prices are crazy in NZ, and while there are obviously expensive items (mangoes 👀), there are so many things in NZ that are the same as or cheaper than in SA. SA prices have also sky rocketed over the past 10 years.

Meat and dairy prices are ridiculous here in NZ, considering it's all produced here $8 for a pound of butter crazy supermarket meat isn't export quality. The problem is that you only have two major food SUPPLIERS here in NZ who seem to be able to dictate food prices. we need a couple of other major players to come and break up the monopoly.

the thing with food you eat it it is finished right so that is why many countries encourage more supermarkets to be build so that there is competition and prices lower and affordable when you have few supermarkets in a town or city there is no competition and prices are higher like that is not good for the farmers and factories again who supply the supermarkets so more supermarkets brings cheaper prices a lot and same time more jobs

Nice video. In my opinion there’s only really 30-40 bucks in the difference with Pak n save and woolies these days. Woolies produce much more choices and the use by dates further ahead. If that’s the pak n save In glen Innes- it’s the worst ever store for short dates meats that should be special reduced prices. They’re gougers!

All your stuff you shop is quite expensive if you shop around you'll get cheaper deals like if you come out south Auckland you get cheaper deals like eggs you'll get $9 for tray of 30, meat you can go to the butcher's around here they pretty cheap for you vege's you can go to the flee market on Saturday's and buy in bulk even the warehouse cheap on toilet paper and milo , washing liquid, things like i only go paknsave for tin and pantry things but yeah just shop around you'll find cheaper things else where

I use Grin toothpaste, Kiwi company, it has remineralisating properties, rebuilds enamel with Hydroxyapetite. After brushing, i rinse with a Salt water/Hydrogen peroxide drink,which kills all the bacteria, it has to be quite hot,means zero toothache, got that advice from a Dentist that was going to charge me over $770 to yank 2 teeth.
