100% right on decision making with Iron Fist. Your job is to get to the backline and wreak havoc then disappear. Sit for 3-5 seconds somewhere, pop out and be an opportunist. This is my preferred playstyle as I always play assassin type stuff. I've been able to triple jump in weird patterns to live really well. I also jump/move side to side to avoid close quarter vs Hela/Hawkaye when my block is on CD. It's by far the most fun hero and my most consistent one. Love him, but for once I don't mind playing strategist either.

@@Nodo-CADWolverine actually does the highest melee damage per second if you use him right. Weirdly enough wolverines rage damage boost is based on the enemies maximum health. Wolverine isn’t meant to dive supports and dps he’s meant to dive and isolate the Tanks.

Something i ALWAYS forget, is that his normal primary will reduce dragon's defence by 1 second. Too often have i just waited out the cooldown when i could have just as easily jump on the squishy thats out of position, hit em a few times, get the block back, and then use that to finish them off to help win the teamfight.

Personally i dont think i am a bad ironfist main, I did learn some mechanics from this tutorial that have helped me. But the thing that i struggle with the most is making the decision to dive the enemies healers, because as a dps charater your team expects you to get loads of damage and that pressure makes me dive into fights where i get swarmed by their whole team because I thought I wasnt getting enough kills or damage. Im working on making smarter decisions when it comes to diving but it still is my main issue as a ironfist main.

Think about it like this, if u wanna rank up, the "carry" (being you) needs to be alive to keep constant pressure on the enemy. Now there are certain cases where it might be worth it but I would say only if u can take out 2 supports for ur own life. But I would say 95% of the time, your own life is priority

@@ince55ant pro tip, if you're wall running sideways and use your booster jet, you go flying very fast and far. It's possible when vertical wall running too, but it's less consistent. Should be able to get you a decent distance away assuming he used kick to catch up after the first boost.

I use iron fist in a weird way after wrecking the team if its a close game i use him to stall for time and have everyone (or as many as possible) focus me to allow us those crucial seconds to push for the win ill waste my life to make it so we get an extra 10 seconds very very affective for a bait to win the game

I can't get it how a character like Iron Fist can be this damn op and unbalanced and then there are characters like Scarlet Witch, which ult has like 5 sec buildup and in that time you can easily be stunned or killed and the enemies can just leave the little area of effect..

He’s not op. He has strong counters and is weak against teams that are grouped up. He has no real burst damage so his damage is easy to heal through.
