Hi Max. I have M4 F83 and looking at this Bimmercode to change a few things. Remove the need "confirm" at start-up, being able to watch video and read messages in motion, auto fold mirrors when locking by comfort and key, and finally default drive selection at start-up. I am not a technical person is this something foolproof enough for anyone to do and is it possible to do these changes?

As far am I’m concerned no you cannot remote start your car using this.

Wouldn't recommend driving to the middle of no where and start coding ECUs! Brick one, you're possibly not going anywhere, also highly advisable to plug in to battery charger as voltage fluctuations can destroy ECUs, and obviously drain the battery.

Bimmerlink = MIL / Check Engine trouble codes. Bimmercode = for coding BMW, Supra.

I’ve got the exact same BMW as you. Sport, Red too. Was wondering can you code in auto folding mirrors. I was thinking of purchasing bimmercode for this

Yeah, i bought bimmercode and unfortunately I don’t have electric mirrors. But do you happen to know if it voids warranty? I was looking at buying warranty but my car is now coded.

@@poshjosh-tj3mc it don’t matter really best is to reset back to old backup and then take it in for any warranty work then recode after as it won’t be going in that’s many times a year also if u get it serviced by bmw then it will wipe the coddling data then u will need to recode
