Just soak in vinegar for 20 mins then rinse and cook, simple. The vinegar gets rid of all the scum that was floating in the water

@rosentshangase2823 enough to cover or almost cover the cow feet pieces. I add a lot of vinegar with a little bit of water to cover the pieces of cow feet. Soak for 20 minutes then rise a few times in water. Then cook.

great video. this technique is unique as bone and fat contributes tons of flavor. the method I use is after blanching I medium boil feet for 4 - 5 hours along with simple aromatics, let cool then separate tendons and skin from bone, and refrigerate, then remove fat from broth. I then vacuum pack and freeze skin and tendon in 8 oz batches for recipes. I also freeze the gelatinous broth in 16 oz batches for later use in recipes. however I do find your method useful. cow feet is delicious especially when combined with other cuts of beef (i.e. oxtail, short ribs, brisket) and should receive the notoriety it deserves. thank you for the video!

@@Ngorskitchen.2018 If one has been advised to eat/ drink broth of cow foot as a medicine, would you still remove the bone. Maybe the juice and fat in the bone is the medicine? Please advise me.

I never let my beef feet boil. I first rinse them then roast in a oven for about 45 minutes to an hour. Then low low simmer, never boil! for 24 hours with onions, garlic and tomatoes and browned beef of any kind. I like to use beef roast cut up into small pieces and browned on all sides. After all color equates to flavor. Remember that! Color equals flavor! Then strain, cool and skim all the fat that will rise to the top and harden when cool. The broth turns into a solid gelatin when refrigerated. Thats how you keep all those healthy nutrients which is why we make it in the first place. I really think you are throwing out and boiling away far too many nutrients. I don't get any of the foam this way. Just delicious bone broth ready to drink or make soup with. Then put into portion size containers and freeze. Thaw in refrigerator and warm on low on stovetop. Never microwave or boil as it will destroy all the lovely nutrients. My bone broth will cure whatever is ailing me overnight! It also plumps up my wrinkles and firms my skin overnight! And I am 53. It is my favorite recipe for heath and beauty. It really truly is amazing! I hope this helps. ;)

Iapologise in advance for my ignorance. Beef foot is another name for cow's foot? Dr Jennifer Daniels recommends this to be drank three times a day. I have lung health issues and a seriously painful degenerated hip. I would prefer not to have surgery so I'm going to give this a try. Yes, I think maybe what I need for my bones would be in the gelatine of the actual cow foot bone. So I think I'd need to cook the bone to get the gelatine. However, I would prefer not to chew the bone. Can I remove it after cooking. And, Can I slowly cook in a slow cooker after the oven? I don't like spicy hot food. Could I put a can of tomatoes and herbs and make it taste a bit Italianish? Would the bad stuff still come to the top? Thank you for your time. Sorry I'm (Irish) clueless. Oh! I usually soak meat in vinegar and rinse a couple of times, trying to remove any antibiotics etc. Thank you for your patience.
