I haven't had much interest in Malawi cichlids but there's something about this tank. I love the mix and they way they swim around. Lots of subtle splashes of color and the fish look ridiculously healthy.

I'm watching because I do in fact like large cichlids in a large aquarium 😉. This is much more stocked than I remember. Did you stock heavily to help with aggression? How is the aggression? The fish and tank, as usual, are looking GREAT. Thanks for sharing Adam.

I didn't necessarily overstock because of aggressive behavior. I am overstocked because I am weak and came across more fish I wanted lol

I have that same feature rock from Universal Rocks. I had to take it out because it turned into a party pad. Females would lay the eggs behind it and the fry could hide out until they got big enough to hang with the rest of the tank. Now I have about 15 scrubby looking African Cichlids that are either orange or grey. No new fry since I took it out. Too bad though because it looks great.

Hey Adam, new sub here. Love your tanks and content. I have a 500gal 10x3x2.5 I am switching to predatory haps. I have a group cypho gibb mikula I am selling to fund the switch. Appreciate your water clarity and feeding tips etc. Prolly gonna get pairs & trios of 10 or so species, most of which I see in your tanks over the past few years.Anyhow, cheers mate, and take it easy!,
