Hey Robert, RO water is actually very bad for PH meters and they will not last as long if you use pure RO water. Here is from the bluelab website: "De-ionized, RO (Reverse Osmosis), or Distilled water should NEVER be used to store or hydrate the pH probe or pen. Pure water changes the chemistry in the reference, causing the pH probe/pen to die." Just wanted you to not kill your PH pen as fast. Gary

​@@PAHydroponics Ph probes yes but I was referring to the EC-PPM Electrode Sorry its still considered a probe LOL but Electrode to be precise. I have used my Milwaukee T75 for years simply rinsing the electrode with every use in Ro then store dry. I test it with a bottle of aquafina as I know its 0 ppm.I use their solution from time to time to be more sure.

Hi If your tap water is 400ppm and you make a mix up to 1100ppms do you take of the start 400ppm so you have 600ppms not 1100ppms thank you for a good video. Jeff

You would want to use RO water, not your tap water if the ppm is that high

You mention 400 ppm then increasing the ppm during flowering. What do you do when you want to continously have different plants at different stages? Where do you run your ppm?

That’s the point man. It’s not always the same. You use these tools to tell you what’s happening to the girls and adjust as necessary. It’s also why I’m assuming he doesn’t exactly like feeding schedules. Natures cycles last longer than 24 hours. Humans are too fast. 🤪

Rinse it everytime, clean every week. Vinegar cleans the calcium. You might want to use the conductivity probe care kit to clean thoroughly.

Hey there, GH is 500 scale, I think foxfarm and Advanced Nutrients are the 700 scale ones. GH is still a good user friendly nute, keep on rocking! Gary

@@garysena4371 don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying the channel is crap. I’m actually following him and I’m subscribed to him as well. Of course I appreciate. It was constructive criticism. Not trying to denigrate him whatsoever that’s why I called him a Gentleman and not dude, bro or homie :). As he mentioned he upgraded his audio. I didn’t realized the vid was that old. That’s my bad! Poor audio and a strong accents made it very hard to understand him. The fact that I’m not a native English speaker doesn’t make things easier but that is my problem not his :)
