Water itself is not conductive, one of the best insulators known to science. So, how can it be split to prove water is actually made from two gases. When you add an electrolyte, you no longer have water alone. Something to think about.

I'm extremely beginner, but my limited knowledge logic wonders why bother glueing bulkhead on stiff PVC, vs barbed fitting bulkheads with tubing snug fits/maybe clamps

Auseum setup brotha I've pretty much watched all your videos I've built my own system with help from you and your videos I built a 6 bucket dwc system with a reservoir I used 2inch bulkhead abs fittings for the lower pipe with 2 inch abs pipe why do you use pvc instead of abs I didn't understand that I'm a plumber by trade and I like to keep abs with abs pvc with pvc they do make 3inch abs just so you know plus it looks a whole lot better keeping it all black just thought I would mention it to you cause your like me you do good work. THANK YOU !!!!!!! YOU ROCK

Hey man, good job! I use the 3 inch cellcore to keep them at a better price and its lighter weight for shipping, I did check into the ABS but it was way more expensive. thanks for watching! Gary

The pump has a 3/4 out and doesn't have a 1 inch out on that pump, it does have a 1 inch input just not an output. G

gary, i am having a problem with my first bucket filling up and not circulating the water. it seems like it will over flow and not disperse to the other buckets and back to the reservoir

Hello, sounds like you may have used a bigger pump tham I use, my pumps are 100gph max, it wont run right with anything more than 100gph. G

Heads up for anyone using these 5 gallon buckets that are having problems with roots blocking the water. They make 5 gallon paint strainer bags that work perfect at keeping your roots contained. Since I’ve started using them I’ve had 0 issues with clogging.

these setups are definitely the easiest but the issue with them is height. You really lose a lot of growth height especially with that bulky reflector up top.

So you mean 75f in your res is ok all the way up to 80f is you have the Sensizym and lots of oxygen?

I am just saying not to freak out about 75, plants will grow at 75, 80 is where you are likely to have problems for sure. Or just get the chiller and rule it out. G

Just got mine setup yesterday 5 - 5 - 24, I went from a Vivosun DWC 4 bucket system to this 5 bucket mini. And it is a 1000 times easier than dealing with individual buckets!! Taking ppms, ph's, and doing feedings used to take an hr/hr + now.. it's 5/10 minutes !!

Hey, this system needs to have the tubing low to floor , you could cut a slit in tent and run tubing out there, but it wont work trying to go out vent hole. G

Menards has 2" bulkheads for $9 a piece. $.98 for a 2" female threaded pvc to start from there.

The pvc is drain pipe and pvc in general is what we all drink from and shower and dishes so I think it is fine and safe. Gary
