nice they save these dogs, but as you said there are million street dogs and no way they could save all .... be real, unless this couple is filthy rich otherwise the "no kill" is insane and for how long could they keep doing this ??

I have veen donating $35 per month to this wonderful santuary for about ten years. There have been rough patches for me where I think that I can no longer donate, but I think about how so many dogs are given a second chance, so I always find a way to cut back, so that I can continue my small part in helping. Thank you for all that you do for these beautiful dogs. You people are teuly angels on earth. My small contribution is the best money I've ever spent. I plan to increase my monthly donations soon, and hope to inspire others to donate as well. ❤

On my only vacation out of the country, first day, I discovered a tied, emaciated, wormy, starving dog with six puppies named Osa. I spent the rest of my two weeks there feeding and trying to get help for Osa. She was *so* starving, and no doubt anemic too, she scarfed down anything I brought her. Dog food, tubes of liver pate, two pounds of chicken and mashed potatoes... I could not get an ounce on her. You could see every rib. I wrote to 6 different rescue org's, a spay clinic in Panama, several veterinarians... and finally connected with Alvaro from Territorio de Zaguates. I am so grateful to Alvaro. He drove nearly 3.5 hours one way to pick up Osa and her pups! It was a profound relief to me, and feels even better now seeing this, and knowing the love and compassion Osa likely got. Thank you Alvaro and Lya and all at Territorio. I love you guys for what you do. Planning to come volunteer when I can, if you'll let me.

What blew me away about this place was the caretakers know every single dog and their stories, the ailments and background of each dog. They just know it all. That's true dedication and true love right there. I've been fortunate to visit this place all the way from India. At that time there were 776 dogs. I had only about 30 mins to spend there but I'll never be able to forget those moments. Maybe one day I'll have a shelter of my own.

This Lady is a World Leader in humanity, and the balance that we as human beings can provide for the animals in our societies that need an equal chance to happiness as any living human being has been given. We need to be accountable to others for our own health and well being, and we need to be responsible for the wholeness of life on this planet as stewards. We are All ONe Within Love, We are All ONe Love Within, and We are All Love Within ONe. When we come together to heal with Love, We turn ON our collective awareness Within and become ONe Love, individual and precious in our differences, yet whole in all the blessed ways Love gives Within each of our hearts.

I can only praise these people. I saw them first on a Netflix documentary called "Dogs". It's a bitter/sweet affair or as they said in that documentary. It is the lease of all evils. I have a rescue dog I saved from certain death, and I have promised her we are together till the end. I won't let her down, like as when her life started, and someone dumped her in a forest at 4 weeks old. The lady is a hero and you can see her love for the dogs. As she said, they are happy, and really that is all they want...to be free and happy!

I am very impressed. My family and I have been rescuing animals for a long time, but never on this sort of scale. However, once we have committed ourselves, we will not put an animal down, just because we have too many. Yes, it is difficult, at times, as we do not receive any funding. We feel though, that every living being, deserves the chance to live out their lives and be loved and cared for. We spay and neuter and vaccinate all the animals in our care. They are all special and are on this earth for a reason.

Watch the documentary 100,000....sadly, the abandonment of animals happens more than we would like to acknowledge. Governments don't even care about the growing problem and is up to certain individuals to carry this titanic labor by themselves. I used to volunteer for a non profit in PR called save a sato. The lady that ran the place, gave up her whole life, to rescue and treat abandoned, wounded and sick dogs. Since she started, she dedicates everyday of her life to that place. Doesn't know what is a vacation or a day off. Is amazing and sad at the same time, because stuff like that shouldn't be happening

There are many, but it’s never enough. Animals can suffer at the hands of humans, or they are loved and cared for. They’re the only animals that cannot survive without human intervention. We need more people to care. Unfortunately with society becoming more selfish, I believe this problem is going to be worse and these poor precious animals will suffer because of it. All we can do is our part to help and educate those who are ignorant.
