OMG I CANT STOP! 😭 Putting my dog down after 14 years was the hardest thing I have ever done to this day... I still shed tears missing her and its been over 7 yrs... That morning she got to eat a whole rack of ribs til she couldn't eat any more... I remember the car ride to my vet where I also worked, with her head on my lap knowing this was it... The last time I will ever physically feel her heart beat, lay with her, feel her warm gentle head on my lap look into her beautiful brown eyes that had such pure unconditional love for me... There are truly no words for that moment in my life... My boss asked me are you ready she was the one who injected her?😢 I held her staring into her eyes and told her it was gonna be alright that she would no longer be in pain and that I loved her with everything I had everything I knew.... There she was just looking into my soul slowly closing her eyes... I could feel the physical life leaving her body... I wanted to take it all back... I wanted to SCREAM! I wanted for her to not die... I just wanted her alive... But I knew she was in pain and I had to be calm for her... Her eyes n body got heavier n heavier... Her breathing slower n slower.... As her eyes closed completely, I kissed her and told her I would never forget her... I'll never forget the car ride home with her lifeless body in my arms... I sobbed the whole way, I knew she was now free from her physical pain... Yet my heart was forever broken a piece that is irreplaceable.... She was my best friend... She was my kid... She stole my pillow at night... She was my everything... She kept me alive when I wanted to die so many times... She licked me when I cried... She was amazing... And now she is gone... And I couldn't take it back... I can't take it back... Honestly I don't know if I will ever get over her... I mean I will forever miss her n love her... I have moved on from so many things since then... I even look at death so different now, but when it comes to her I'm still heartbroken... I don't know how to let the pain go.... I don't know how to let her go... I buried her in the hills we used to hike so she could become one again with all.... I miss her immensely! I went for a long bike ride with my friend in the valley and we found a puppy alone in the middle of nowhere... We didn't know what to do and it was full of fleas so we just left it 😢 I feel really bad about it and wonder if it's still alive

Was there clean water near that area? Shade? Maybe a forest were mice could live? Or fields with rabbits? Was the puppy older than 12 weeks? Because than it might have survived

I found him inside of a thrown car tyre.. Yes there are a lot of rabbits and mice but there are also a lot of foxes (I saw 5 that day) and it didn't look like it could hunt so I guess it's dead ☹️

i had a pet dog which died 3 yrs ago....i can remember how much i cried on that day,and how much i missesld my bestie in those days...i remember my father told me he will not buy any other pet dog for me in the future after seeing my reaction on his death. While watching this video today i wept bitterly recalling each and every moment that i shared with him...his eyes, his bark,his tail moving are taking live forms in front of my eyes...i even had kept his favourite ball safe till now and his collar. We used to take long walks in the evening,he used to go with me to the park where we played a lot. Went on poodle-rescue site in May, and 'lo and behold!, staring at me was the cutest little face I'd ever seen. Didn't want a mini dachshund, certainly not a boy; I wanted a poodle. Well, Astro (now Benny), was calling my name. Now, a year later, 7-pound Benny, who is eight, is an integral part of my life. He's a retired 'stud'. I treat him like the prince he is.

Yulia Orme I had to put my dog down 2 years ago when it hits 20.07.19 it killed me to she her so lifeless laying there I hugged her all the way through... when the vet said are you ready... I said my last goodbyes and she whimpered as if she knew and was telling me it was going to be okay 😭 I can’t take it I’m crying now her name was pixie she’s my profile pic I loved her.... I said softly tears in my eyes.... “yes” that’s when she was gone for good... but I knew she was no longer suffering, no longer in pain I never let go of her during the process I have her ashes still that’s when the vet told me I had to go so they could get her ashes made...I let go of her paw and walked away crying uncontrollably while my mum was rubbing my back... I never felt so alone! I would really do anything just to see her again.... I know our paths will cross again but it’s hard without her I cry myself to sleep every night, cry into my pillow. I really don’t know what I am going to do without her... I just feel so depressed now she is gone I know I made the right decision... it killed me more seeing her wimpier and cry lifeless... begging for her own life she was 13 years... she’s the first I want to see when I go 😭😭😭💔💔

After watching this video, I realize something: I have never, not in my many many years of KZbin, have I cried in a video. No puppy rescue story or animal success story, nothing. I realize now that I am not made of the stone I thought I was. My cousin's dog recently died, and I was very close with him. He was almost 15 years old, and such a sweet brown labrador. The next time I go to their house or even see my cousins, I'm rather sure I will break down in tears. Duff, you were such a great dog. This video that I watched days after his death did something to me i didnt think a video could do. I'm going to miss sitting down and feeling your heavy head next to me. I cried as hard as i did when i just lost her and even now watching this video again and reading the comments again i am sitting in class crying again.. It is a pain that never goes away till memory fades. I loves her so much and I know she loves me and she wants to thank me for everything i did but she was taken away to soon she was just 4 and she got really sick. Her medicin didn’t work and i still blame myself like what if i didn’t do this or what if we didn’t take her with us on vacation? would she had survived? I just have to agree. It hurt like you loved a person. He who does not have a dog does not understand it, but the dog is like a family member, like a human, sometimes I think he understands me better than anyone else. Now I take him as a family member and can't imagine losing him. People are trying to forget, but they just can't. They always seem to listen and they will always try to make you happy again when ur sad... They will stay loyal to you no matter what you do to them they come running to you when you come home and you can just tell they missed u :’( Oh and the worst part.. Having to leave the house and them looking out of the window at u like awhh do u need to leave already take me with u.. An d ur like ok fine one more cuddle then.. and i just dont feel like a bunny or cat would do that the closest animal is probably a horse :)

Also my another dog named Huskie she's also sick. She died 1 year ago. She's 7 years old. She's been with us for 7 years. I love her very much. She protect us from any harm. Me too! I have a senior dog, 15 and a 6mo pup. They need each other. She is his ears because he doesn’t hear well and he shows her manners and she keeps him feeling young. When his time comes we will both be sad. He’s had a very good life! He was rescued from the shelter. He helped our autistic son so much through the difficulties in life. Trust me tell her or him you love her everyday.. now you still got time.. When she is always you blame yourself for every minute you didn’t pet her or didn’t give her attantion. Trust me tell her it please just so when you come home one day you atleast had the change to tell her a proper goodbye. bc it hurts as hell :(

I was brought back from the brink by my service dog. Hell, "If I could talk?" I say those things to my girl EVERY DAY. She speaks to me in her own way. She doesn't need to speak out loud. I understand her completely.

I came across this...I have been working with rescue groups for over 20 years. I have owned 20+ dogs & 19 were pit bulls. One was a yellow lab that was hit by a car and the owner who was a client of mine brought him to my grooming shop. He needed three leg surgeries and had a scar down his whole back from being dragged on the concrete. I wouldn't let a 7 month old die. He (Furio ) was my soul mate in a dog. I put him down last August. Thank you for this. There were so many coincidences in here. We would all go to the beach and he had his ball named Ralph. One day we swam all day and then I was drying him off and we laid down in the grass and fell asleep. I held him and cried as my vet put him down. The end made me cry cuz I saved his last green collar and his ball, Ralph. PLEASE Adopt! Don't shop! When you save a dog, you find out that dog saves you. They love you more than themselves. I hope there is a full length movie of this. My man is in the business and his friend can send me any movie. I have five other dogs now but no dog will ever replace Furio. He was so abused, he needed a tough name and The Sopranos just happened to be on. I wrote this more for me so I can watch this again. BEST VIDEO I HAVE SEEN THAT RELATES TO WHAT A RESCUED DOG DOES TO US!

Looks exactly like my yellow lab now. I couldn’t finish watching this. Lost my previous yellow in 2019 and I’m still not over it. Thanks for making me cry. Dogs should live forever
