Hey Choice not sure if you remember me asking about the hog u2gm but as a roadhog one trick ill give some tips on how he works now since it sounded like you were confused in this video lol. 1) Roadhog is rarely used anymore so people have forgotten how to play against him. 2) Roadhog plays like a mid-range assassin getting picks still BUT his one shot is still kinda in the game for some defenseless characters (Mercy, Widow, Hanzo, etc.) One special pick from hog can guarantee who wins the team fight basically. 3) Never go in on a hog solo, I've destroyed a lot of reaper's because of it. Hog either fires a primary and gets a guarantied kill on a 250 hp target or takes a risk and steps up a little. What I mean is wraith out right away or its certain death because roadhog does 300 damage if all pellets connect to the head in one primary fire, so roadhog can walk up during the hook animation and perform the old one shot all over again. Thats why taking the risk in 2) is so great against defenseless characters. Hope this helps mate.

Hi fellow Roadhog player here. I'm kinda new to overwatch but am I wrong in thinking that everyone is underestimating his recent buff? If a mercy heals you for a sec while you pop your breather it seems like you can recover the majority of your health even when getting hit by almost anything. I was playing on quick play at the time I was noticing this (haven't tried comp on tank yet) so I wasn't dealing with the most competent enemies but it seems massively improved.

@@OpinionatedGamer roadhog buff is not that big of a deal because hog already can heal to full without the help on the extra fortified healing, is a thing that have "helped" him against teams that are based on spam dmg to the tank and we win but if your against counters like ana, zen, kiriko, junkerqueen, etc your still gonna get in trouble if you try to be too cocky because with hog you have to play passive or else they will anti or combo you and you will be gone with the buff or not, and if you play passively its kinda unnecesary the healing buff because your taking cover and is a heal of 350 health soo no its not that big of a buff, hog is still tanky as shit, the only buff that i can see that if they give to him he will be good again that hia hook could have better range when you hook people at a distance that you will be able to do 175 health consistently
