Trump was advised to not bow deeply because that would cause an issue where the other person would have to bow even more so. Inside rumors was he was trained for an hour to bow just enough to show respect. The sumo wrestler was also told to take his hand to not show disrespect to trump since traditionally he would be to low standing to touch, but this was told to be an exemption.
