We are actually going to be adding glass and wood to the house that gives us the ability to open and close it. Lots more still to do and super exciting projects to share.

"off grid" - dryer, water heater...lol. I've lived in Costa Rica for a year (in a condominium) and gave up on hot water and a dryer within first few months

We use the dryer mostly in rainy season because we find it very hard for clothing to hey fully dry. And hot water is nice where we are especially at night when it's cooler
