Love it. Always good to learn something new in our industry. Fields are done a little differently here in Maine but I always give credit where it's due, salute to all the pipe masters out there!

I did this type drain field 30 years ago I thought it was great simple easy and effective. The guy who charged 500 for the design/10ft off wetlands in blueprint I tossed in the trash, drew where I new it should safely go on the counter on yellow legal pad at the permit office. 98 bucks. I'm now seeing chambers fields, styrofoam peanut fields, which is fine. What do you say? And would you know if ths type field w/4/6" perferared pipe is acceptable in E Texas?

Where do you get your septic sand from? I did a leech field for my old boss's house in Greely and he said the closest place was from Tackaberry (Brockville area) so we had them deliver it. Seemed kinda odd you couldn't get it more local.

I could see air spaces under your pipes so when you cover them they will sag. We do this type of system in two hours or less with a d box and the pipes are dead on no spaces you are doing it old school way .You have a transit but don't know how to use it to your advantage .
@KenWhiteConstruction3 жыл бұрын
We’ve been in business for 50 years with no failed septics and systems that last 30 years plus. Think we are good. Thanks though
@jprh963 жыл бұрын
@@KenWhiteConstruction A pipe and stone system with pipes out of level will work as you may know .All i was saying is you are installing the stone the old way. There is a much easier way today to do it and faster. For the time it took you to lay out the first 6" of stone to set your pipes i would be done. I too have been in septic for over 40 years also license Designer of septic plans and installed1000's of systems .licensed in soils and we pump ..I can count on one hand the ones that have failed do to home owner mistakes . be well

Your videos would be so much better if you weren't playing to the camera all the time. This is, of course, only my opinion. You have a lot of subscribers, so you are definitely doing something right. It just isn't something I like. I personally like when the job is the main subject and the "look at me I am so great" is left at home. Again, this is only my opinion and is not meant to say your videos are bad.
@KenWhiteConstruction5 жыл бұрын
Respect that fully Joel! Honestly I totally get what you mean and it’s something we try to balance but I like using our channel to promote a positive and inspiring message so tendering to the camera is necessary for that, to fully deliver a message. I try to create content around that entire idea of inspiring as well as educate people that may not be within the industry, on this subject. Most respect to your comment as that is what we need more of. Honest reviews that aren’t just telling someone they suck, thank you!
@corylurette61785 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the input Joel!!! Honestly this is just who we are at work, we have fun at work with or without the camera. Not just putting on a show just I am genuinely a goofy guy.😊

I laugh at the way you installed 6" stone than put the pipe on top of it lol lol lol Than cover it with stone. WAY old school of doing it but it you don't know well you don't know. We can build most pipe and stone systems in 2 hours perfect 12" of stone and all pipes are level.
