Dozer looks nice. Sourcing parts is the real killer on new machines. Had my last day in Sennebogen tree handler today and going to be running a Merlo with grapple saw. Not looking forward to the down time that they’re notorious for. Sennebogen NA have been on top of parts aside from the steep price tag

I’ve sold 4 or 5 DD130 Trimble kits. Some 2D some 3D, the automatics work quite well. They do grade better on soft material though I’ve noticed, the track chop is exaggerated on the front idler.

I demoed a huge steel building when i was about 20 or 21 with a hrand new 349 when they first switched from the 345's ..... the owner of the company came out to check on me and he was a big scrapper 😂 he saw copper and wires everywhere and started running around grabbing them before i loaded it out . A sales rep came out to see how we liked the grapple attachment i was using and he kept coming up to me thinking i was the owner or his son . He refused to believe that the guy crawling around the demo pile grabbing copper was the owner of the company

I’ve run a lot of doosan/develon new stuff old stuff, heavy use all around. None of it is nice gear nothing beats the top of the market stuff like cat Volvo komatsu and JD. You get maybe a couple thousand good hours that the machine is tolerable but after that it’s a lot of codes and limp modes.

My experience with Doosan machines is they look the part and the cab is really well equipped but they start falling apart and leaking after a thousand hours or so. Plastics rattle apart, switches rattle apart, starts leaking oil or coolant, pins start wearing even when they’re greased correctly… and the excavators have terrible track gear, no turning or climbing power. Hopefully their latest gear is built stronger and more reliable since the name change. Oh and KWC Gear
