My grandfather was treated the same way. Did 15 years of a life sentence for murder back in the 1940's until the real killer confessed on his death bed. Grandpa was tossed out of prison with $10.00 a white t-shirt and cacky pants and shoes. You did not get phone calls back then. I feel for you sir. And glad you're home.

400 year sentence!!! Wrongfully convicted for a crime he didn’t commit. The laws need to change. Someone or multiple individuals need to answer to the crime of his conviction. Restitution of some type should be made for this egregious situation. Laws need to change.

I personally think, living as a FREE man is bigger than any compensation he can get. They took 34 years of his freedom. Very sad, but life goes on. Keep on moving.

34yrs. Prosecution asked for 800yr+ incarceration term but the judge, in his "wisdom" gave 400yrs instead. No matter who the governor was then the current fool that is Ron DeSantis needs to publicly apologise to this man and state that he's being awarded $400million dollars (tax free) from the state of Florida. That's just punitive damages. The state of Florida & the federal government of the USA needs to adequately compensate this man, so whatever the number they think is right times it by 20 and your almost there
