Yes but part's G forces limits are set at an arbitrary and high 50G for all parts. This mod only then modifies the manned command parts to have a more challenging gameplay.

Thats not very realistic either tho, is it? racing drivers sustain 200g crashes and walk away, the problem is the duration of the exposure to high Gs, also i hardly believe that a reentry capsule would just explode at 25gs, surely humans wouldnt survive that for the duration of the reentry I think it would be way cooler if amount of Gs and rate of change of the Gs, as well as the time they are being endured were all used to calculated the when a kerbal will pass out and then die (similiar to RP-1 exposure to vacuum feature ig) edit: idk where i pulled 25gs from, you set it to 8!!!!, some fighters can pull more than that and land in one piece, capsules and cockpits dont just go boom :c

Yep, this is an aproximation made towards KSP gameplay. Apollo couldn't withstand more than 12g on reentry, and yeah it would go boom above that : ) . but yeah some other capsules could go above that, like soyuz. But never above 18g for those type of spacecrafts to my knowledge (and 18g was on a failed mission). But the point is stock ksp is at 1/10 the scale our solar system, meaning for a pod to pull more than 12g on reentry, you have to go absurd/insane, even 10g in stock. So I did a lot of test with different reentry profiles, and 8g for stock seams to be the right value : meaning a reentry from the mun, or high kerbin orbit, with the Pe at/under 0km will most likely destroy your craft... similar to real life. 25g is the value I set for (space)planes part, although this is still subject to change while testing. Note that this mod doesn't touch kerbals ! Deadly reentry does that. Only parts here : ) The point of this mod really is wanting you to be careful about your reentry profiles, in a lightweight pluginless fashion... Cheers

bruh thats some real BS, a capsule wont blow up once it reaches 10g's, i get it that the kerbals are cheap, but not capsules blowing up like that cheap
