Running center seconds hands do not belong on non-tool watches. The original Royal Oaks did not have them, and this one does not either. So +1 for this model

Didn't get why it have a beryllium ring. Beryllium is the lightest strongest metal on the periodic table. It's used in very high end midrange/tweeters .

Well I could ask why is the original two tone Vacheron Constantin 222. 4-5 times more expensive then I payed for my two tone Vacheron Constantin Phidas 48020. Just be happy there are watches you feel are overvalued and others undervalued .
