@@ugochukwu3109 I’ve seen many watches on Chrono 24 ceramic cases such as iwc and omega with broken cases right where the band meets the watch. You can only replace the whole case which is anywhere 3 to 6 grand

So … this week I’m picking one up. Gonna fit in perfectly with my Planet Ocean. Omega have to be the best bang for buck out there. And just for the irony… the rarity. I owned a Rolex GMT (Batgirl) for a while, beautiful watch, and you think of them a s being relatively rare… Yea well not as rare as this Omega. I’ve never seen one of these in the watch groups.

Absolutely lovely watch, I just don't understand the size! The standard 300m at 42mm feels large compared to a 41mm Sub or 42mm Breitling Heritage Superocean II, then they make a no date version...but with a larger case? It seems nonsensical! If this was a 41mm it could very well find it's place alongside my 114060.

The GO SeaQ Panorama Date is a phenomenal watch. I have a Seamaster 300 and a World Timer so I like and admire Omega......but, the GO SeaQ Panorama Date is at another level. Incredible dial work and overall finishing.

Plated gold hands on a 13k watch? A two tone sub on Bracelete is 15600 Msrp and you get way more gold for 2600 diff at Msrp. Omega blows lol 35% off makes sense for this

These are not anything like the original “Bond” model. Every aspect that made that model special doesn’t exist in this model nor the closest attempt - steel on bracelet. The soft contours of the bracelet, in that reference, gone. The muted, blue aluminum bezel, gone. The muted blue, pressed wave dial, gone. The flat helium escape crown, gone. The thinness, and lightness, gone. The accessible price, gone. A shiny, etched dial with wave pattern interrupted by text. A larger, pointier helium escape crown. It’s far thicker, bigger - a real clunker. And the price, while admittedly commensurate with the times and its specs, is certainly far less accessible. All in all these watches are completely different watches and should not bear the same name. We must stop being hypnotized into such denial, believing such differences are mere “improvements” or “evolutions”. They are not. The brands are putting out brand new models and totally retiring old models. This is not the “Bond”watch. The “Bond”watch is dead. Now carry on.
