SPOILER: The film definitely looked good and I enjoyed the unique concept, but what I got out of it was a crazy girl goes to drug parties, then drags her boyfriend to a loony cult in a foreign country, drives him away with her behavior and gets him killed. What a weird way to spend your last few days on Earth. Also, if I knew I was about to die I wouldn't be showing up to work for the airlines, train, etc.
@TheZoltan-4211 ай бұрын
The story is definitely not about rational actions, but the instinctive side that goes haywire. We are well-equipped for short bursts of danger, which is an evolutionary thing. But when the danger is days-weeks etc out, and you can do nothing about it, everyone will cope with it differently. Same problem terminally ill people must face too. In this world, I'm sure a lot of people would indeed not show up for work, but some would. Because it can be a way to escape and bring a hint of normalcy into your life. Some would do it to make sure society does not instantly collapse. The short is one possible path, and obviously not yours.

Just mention a tube in the sky and some will start believing 😂 They mixed and mashed some telescope news and slapped "Hubble" into the story. It could have been Keppler, Chandra, Spìtzer or Webb, but, though Chandra would have been relevant to the story (it's named after an Indian astrophysicist), Hubble is the one most people knows so... SLAP "HUBBLE" THERE! It's just a short film plot. BTW, politicians in USA want to cancel Chandra this year, so if you live there, try to help your scientits raise awareness and convince the Congress.

It's not about what's causing the end of the world, it's about how everyone handles knowing it's coming. At 1st she's partying to forget & boyfriend is trying to get her to live life while they can, not drug away her time. Other people go on & pretend like it's not gonna happen, & others go on living but keep looking up in anticipation. Then the exposure of the "religious leader" brings out the truth that he is selfish & controlling, & he lets hate take control. But in the end she's sober, she realizes she doesn't need to pretend someone else has "the answers", she only needs herself & boyfriend. She sees the wonder of life/the universe, like her boyfriend wanted all along. Spoiler.... Too bad the boyfriend didn't get to enjoy life with her til the end. Her getting them involved with the religious group to keep emotionally hiding ended up cutting boyfriend's life short.

37 seconds of irrelevant and readable subtitles in an almost 20-minute video, and all you can do is complain? And be disappointed that some people with some visual issues may have problems reading the pointless subtitles. You are one of those. Getting outraged for others who themselves may or may not care, but definitely didn't choose you as their spokesman. You people are in fashion at the moment, but not for long.

😂 what do you expect at the end of the world?
@averagejoe825511 ай бұрын
@@derrickgardener2148 So the apocalypse is coming then? I have no idea what your reply even means. This is a fictional occurrence, a fantasy. We all live in the real world, not video games, nor doom-and-gloom apocalypse scenarios. All I see is yet another group of people looking for reasons to fail, or do nothing. Self-made victims, who see nothing but despair for the future. The earth will be here long after mankind has ceased to exist. And as a species, I'm certain we’ll one day outgrow this cradle called Earth and move onward. This unceasing angst on the part of these last three generations is sickening and mired in defeatism (i.e. Millennials, Gen-Z’ers, and the latest and steadily groomed for doom Gen-Alpha’s). The world is not going to end in 10, 20, 50, or 1000 years. Nevertheless, those of us who understand this are all provided with a front-row seat so we can bear witness to the unceasing malaise of three generations, who act as though the end is imminently near. Thank God it is only about 20-30 percent of each of these groups that are so incredibly mentally weak. Those who have become brainwashed into believing this nonsense, and have never developed a sense of survival no matter the odds, otherwise society would have already collapsed. Common sense and logic are anathema to these weak-willed victims of themselves. They’re the first to cry “Follow the science” yet they never do it themselves. How incredibly ironic. They are all echo chambers that feed off each other like depressed prophetic cannibals. I just wish they’d all wake up, see the sun each morning, and demonstrate a little gratitude that they have been gifted with such a beautiful world. That they live in a country with endless possibilities, freedoms, and hopes. Where the only thing stopping their dreams from coming to fruition is themselves. What a huge pity party.
