Shot this video on my iPhone-couldn’t bother with cameras and gear in the mountains. Also, yes, it’s a bit late! 😅❤

I appreciate that you truthfully put the watches in the thumbnail! ofc, I still watched the whole thing bc wanted to listen to your takes, and also, your hike looked great

😆Got you, bro! I totally get what you mean about all the misleading thumbnails out there. The hike was amazing-highly recommend the Tatra Mountains!❤️

I love this style of video - casual walking & talking about watches with high quality b-roll - keep posting great videos.

Nice video, R. Only one Watch fits that terrain and occasion perfectly. And that would be the Rolex explorer two Polar dial.

Great choices, got two in the current collection ;) The Moser streamliner is next on the list.

Good video. What kind of accuracy (sec/day)are you seeing on the Moser?

Great video! How about the Polaris Perpetual Calendar that you reviewed a while back in steel, is it worth the price tag?
@WatchSociety16 сағат бұрын
Thanks, glad you enjoyed the video! The Polaris Perpetual Calendar in steel is a fantastic piece, but whether it’s worth the price tag depends on what you value-its unique design, complications, and finishing are impressive, but honestly there’s stiff competition at that price point. I still like it, but much appreciate the date only and considering the price point.

Should this video be limited to 360p? Highest resoluition I can select.

You made me double-check 😅 and it’s definitely in 4K! Is your KZbin mobile setting set to 4K for viewing?

@@WatchSocietyIt’s also maxed out at 360p for me.

360p is the only option for me on KZbin iOS. But maybe it’s a time thing?
@oneal14attnet17 сағат бұрын
Love your content. Need more of it though. Very few KZbinrs are willing to call out the watch world when warranted. I dropped Lange off my list due to maintenance costs. Not worth it. If Patek can keep costs down Lange surely can. Love your collection though!
@WatchSociety16 сағат бұрын
Thanks, bro ❤️ I’ve been away for a bit, but I’m back now! Patek prices, especially on the Calatravas, have dropped significantly. The 6119G and 6119R are trading well below retail, and the same goes for the 5226G.

You passed on a 222 twice?
@Greysprunkiyay5 сағат бұрын
Really bro, Rolex? Seeing a Lange then a Rolex gave me whiplash. I get it, you want to get clicks but Lange is handmade art and Rolex is machine-made metal pushed by hype marketing.
@WatchSociety4 сағат бұрын
The video’s topic is “Watches You Should Still Buy in 2025”-it’s not about competition or comparing hand-made vs. machine-made pieces. Both Lange and Rolex have their own strengths and weaknesses, and I speak from experience as someone who owns both. Lange Pros: • Mesmerizing craftsmanship on the visible movement • High horology (“haut horology”) at its finest • I’d personally consider it over a Patek in some cases Cons: • High entry price point and costly maintenance • Extremely long wait times for any servicing Rolex Pros: • Robust and reliable for daily wear • More cost-effective for entry into luxury watches • Easier and quicker maintenance compared to Lange Cons: • Overexposure due to hype-driven marketing Both brands cater to different audiences and purposes, and each has its own appeal. Oh, and this is my first video in nearly two months. If I were chasing clickbait, I’d be uploading daily with exaggerated titles and over-the-top emotional thumbnails Bro!! 😉
