Can't thank you enough. I wasted enough hours of my day trying to set my watch after a battery replacement. Its strange every other video was showing a different way of adjusting that was simply not working until I stumbled upon yours. Not only did I set the time, but came to know about the functions and adjustability of my watch which unashamedly to confess I wasn't aware for 10 years now. Oh yeah my watch is 10+ years old and still going strong. G-Shock rocks!!!

Hi, this is a brilliant tutorial to set Casio G-Shock GA-1100 series. I really like the color that you own (GA-1100-1A1) and I believe it was released in 2018. Mine is GA-1100-2A which is a combination of Red & Blue (I LOVE IT). I bought this Gravitymaster on November 29th, 2017. Got the batteries replaced today (November 12th, 2019) and I followed the instructions while watching the video as I had forgotten how to set this watch up. It was indeed very helpful and I learned (for the first time in 2 years) how to effectively calibrate the Compass. Thanks a bunch for making this video mate, keep up the good work...CHEERS ☺

This is because certain digital watches tend to gain or lose time after a while. Does your analog and digital time always match each other? Do any or both of them gain or lose time? God bless!

They always match each other, the hands just reflect what the digital shows, its one timekeeping system, not two separate ones. The mismatch can happen if you mess up the hands, when you change the battery or if there is enough of a shock to move the hands put of sync

Tried to adjust the hand as instructed however failed to do so as the Does that mean the watch is broken? Mine stuck at sub 2 and it wont move. Also the hand wont jump back to home city time, as the hand kept stuck at 12.
