Completely agree with Nikki. The star wars universe is vast and has so much potential to tell all sorts of stories. but the movies are all just about the Skywalker/solo family and their personal fight against the empire. And then the newer movies were just a rehash of that but done worse in pretty much every way because of corporate agenda and the directors caring more about one uping each other than making a cohesive story. Rogue one was brilliant but all the rest were at best meh. The shows veering away to show stories about other people and really flesh out things that the movies just hint at is beautiful.
