I admit - I used to find Baby Yoda cute. I'm not immune to such manipulation. But now almost every shot of Baby Yoda is starting to annoy me, because I know he's not supposed to be there according to every rule of good storytelling. The entire previous season was about handing him off to a Jedi, despite the emotional bond forming. But now all of that is rendered pointless. And so now every time Baby Yoda does something cute it just seems forced and manipulative, because we know he's only there to sell merchandise and not for any valid plot reason. This makes the show lose any sort of charm it once had.

They had to have you invested. And Grogu was always a main character in the universe from the beginning. They did good showing his attatchment issues, which explains his choice. Its all working like butter. It all has been leading up to things. Even this episode.

This is sort of how I feel about Ahsoka. I really liked her up until her life was saved by bloody time travelling. She's clearly Filoni's favourite child he's unable to let go. Her dying in the hands of Vader saving Ezra and co would have been a beautifully tragic ending for her.

I’d say it was pretty bad. The entire thing was filler aside from the final scene. Plus mando’s conversation with the armorer was the same exact on they had in bobf. Also, grogu returning completely ruins the premise of the previous seasons which I’d argue weren’t even that well developed to begin with.

Back when Star Trek ran 24-26 episodes per season, the audience had to expect filler episodes. When the series only has 8-11 episodes per season, each one should be a bloody gem.

I thought it was to the point. Grogu is learning the ways of the mandalorian, actually trying to learn now, Bo Katan is miserable and will be a problem later. Also, an arch for Mando to at very minimum band together the other Mandalorians. Bo Katan will challenge him after he unites them. Probably win, then get defeated by Grogu.

There were only 4 IG-88 droids and all of them were destroyed before the destruction of the Second Death Star except for IG-88A who uploaded his conciseness into the Death Star II before it was destroyed as well. IG-88A's body was later found and he was reprogrammed by Tyko Thul to become his family's bodyguard against the Diversity Alliance. IG-88B was"killed by Boba Fett on Cloud City. IG-88C was also destroyed by Boba Fett. IG-88D was destroyed by Dash Rendar.

You know what they could have tried? Instead of throwing the explosives on to the OBVIOUSLY tough shell on top, they could have tried throwing the explosives in its mouth. I imagine the tissue in there is much softer than the hardened outer shell and it would have a much better chance of at least stunning the alligator or driving it off.

Did did Disney forget about Star wars ig-11 backstory did they forget that if an IG 11 is destroyed its consciousness uploaded to. Basically a cloud and essentially get reincarnated. The reason why I g11 or ig-88 are such good assassin droids is because they never stop. If you kill one eventually it will come back to haunt you in another. form so if they really wanted him to come back have him be reincarnated through the program in cloud That's why a lot of these droids were terrifying and. Alot of them were not created because some of these droids. Became sentient and start downloading their consciousness into. Newer better stronger models but to make sure they kept wiping their memories and making them better. Assassin's that's why people across the Galaxy fear ig-88 is because there have no worry about self-destruction they can come back. And they're very easy to cooperate with other ig-88. To hunt down a Target it does not matter how many ig-88 they have to throw at you to kill you.

Canderous Ordo took his mask off when he left the homeworld then came back to become Mandalore. The only reason why he didn't take his armor off then was because he was pretty badly disfigured in pursuit of the top spot. Disney tossed that little detail out when they scrapped the best source of additional content that they had going, the Expanded Universe.

Also, the 2 minutes of making the helmet was a commercial for all new child-sized, cheap, plastic Mandalorian helmets coming to a toy store near you! They're right next to the Baby Yoda dolls advertised heavily this episode. All things that will end up as trash, like this show and everything Disney makes now.

A few questions came to mind after watching ep1... why is there no recap that explains why Grogu left with Luke at end of S2 and is suddenly back with Mando at start of S3? why do the Mandalorians perform baptisms in giant crocodile infested waters? How did a creature that large remain submerged without anyone noticing its approach? why do the Mandalorians stay in melee range and use grappling hooks against the giant crocodile? how has Navarro maintained law and order without any form of law enforcement? how did IG-11 remain mostly intact after self destructing while in a pool of lava? why does Mando think that replacing IG-11's memory board will restore his previous state? why doesn't Mando just get a new droid and program it to protect them? why is the pirate who attempted to murder the high magistrate allowed to go free? why do the pirates go after Mando instead of the defenseless Navarro planet? why does swamp thing boss get mad at Mando for killing his troops, that he sent to kill Mando? what does target locked mean, since it clearly does not mean locked onto the target? why did Bo Katan's forces leave to become bounty hunters if their goal is to follow the owner of the dark saber? why does Bo Katan criticize Mando as a fool for clinging to old traditions in the same scene that she clings to an old tradition? the writing is incoherent and uninspired, all useless side quests with no overall arc. disconnected episodic adventures with cute cuddlies and member berries might interest some ppl, but i think most SW fans want a good story arc that we can invest in...

They are all main quests. Grogu, learning how to be a Mandalorian, actually trying to learn. Bo Katan misrable(future prob), Mando banding together the others. Bo Katan will defeat Mando after that, and Grogu defeats her later. I can see it. Its the whole show. Not side quests. I think you know that. You wouldnt be a KK supporter woudl you?

Naw bro the drinker and all the other KZbinrs all got screeners for the entire season of Picard . Their all being positive of the show . You know what that means, I've pretty much agreed with that entire crew untill the last year or two. Now I'm like these guys are trash .
