This trilogy is easily one of the best trilogies ever made!

I hope you’ll consider giving the originals a watch. They don’t get enough attention in the wake of the new ones. The first one is a sci fi classic

I agree, but watch these first. These films are great and I think that each film is better than the last one. The original is a once in a lifetime scifi film. The writing and a lot of the acting made it superior to most other science fiction of the time. I mean, Rod frigging Serling! It's like a bonus Twilight Zone feature.

One of the many reasons i adore this trilogy with Caesar and Kingdom with Noa is because the great apes are my favourite wild animals. i love chimps, Gorillas and Orangutans and have adopted many in my time from new born infants to silverbacks and adult chimps. When a chimp is 8 years old then they are an adult. 😘🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 #ApesTogetherStrong ❤️❤️💔💔

All hail the great CAESAR💚 This is an amazing trilogy, Caesar💚 is the best!!! ...love him to bits, hes a way better leader then most human leaders today. Caesar only bit the finger, it was still attached so that mean neighbour was lucky. Notice after all hes been through, Caesar has no first instinct or intention to kill humans or hurt people, just to free his apes. He never even killed the nasty Draco, he killed himself out of stupidity. Also the apes didnt kill any innocents, they just trashed a few offices and scared people tbf. You can see how heartbroken Caesar was to reject his human dad after he turned his back, its clear how hard it was for him & he continued using his window as his symbol on street signs after escaping. I always root for the apes, animals are true to their nature, & we betray ours. Also, Caesar can be infected again, so he also get even smarter when inhaling the 1.13 virus too, plus Caesar is way more intelligent since he had a proper human childhood education from Will.

“I don’t really care for monkeys” Well good news, there aren’t any in these. 10:10 You were saying? 😂 Jacobs got out because presumably he ran in a different direction and the apes didn’t chase him. Killing him wasn’t the priority, freedom was. You know, until he was involved in Buck’s death. Caesar’s No left me speechless in the theater. Left everyone speechless! I didn’t expect it at all. The classics had much more human-like apes, so with having more realistic ones, I thought having them talk would be a step too far for a casual audience. But this movie did it so well! They only have Caesar talk, and it’s only a couple times for significant moments. “How are you not more freaked out from someone sneezing blood on you?!” Because people can have nosebleeds and sneeze at the same time? 🤷‍♂️😂 I have. And I never thought I’d defend this a-hole, but he’s not stupid for going to the airport to do his job after getting sneezed on, he has no idea he’s carrying a megavirus that’s gonna wipe out humanity. No one told him.

🦍I somehow missed you watching Star Wars, need to go back for that. But I love the Planet of The Apes movies. I would recomend going back for the OG ones even. I do love the 2001 one, but I feel that one is just a stand alone inbetween the OG and this series.

The Current Movie Kingdom of The Planet of The Apes Jumps Ahead About 300 Years 😮 After War For The Planet of The Apes 😮 Kind of A Mistake But The Movie Was Ok In Spite of The Time Changes, Maybe In The Future We'll Get A Film Set Between That Time Jump?😮

You should watch the OG 1968 one, just this one at least. Because the 2011 trilogy that you are now watching is derived from 1968 one. If it was a bad movie, no one would be inspired to create the 2011 trilogy. If you watch the 1968 one first before the 2011 trilogy, you would have caught SO MUCH more context and direct references to link them both. The 1968 is a cult classic, really good story driven movie. so after you watch the trilogy, Rise OTPOTA 2011, Dawn OTPOTA 2014 and War OTPOTA 2017, you should then go ahead and immediately watch Planet of the Apes (1968) so that (hopefully) you still can remember the details in Rise 2011. Those scenes are very brief in 2011 and would not make sense since you didn't watch the 1968 first. You are likely not to remember them unless you do a quick rewatch after watching 1968. It is better to watch the 1968 one, then the 2011 trilogy onwards, in this order. but its too late now. so you can do it the other way round.

This is a prequel to the 1968 movie Planet of the Apes. If you had watched that first you would've picked up on all the references and appreciated it a lot more. Good reaction regardless 👍
