Here's a bit of friendly advice. Be sure to watch the Blu-ray/Uncut version of AOT for each of the 4 seasons. Most modern-day anime series tend to make corrections in the animations following the home release. And a lot of fans would agree, they look much better than what initially aired on TV.

This show is in my top 5 shows of all time. It is absolutely amazing. The storytelling and writing is elite and pretty much impossible to predict. Be very careful of spoilers though! This show is very easy to be spoiled on to the point that I wouldnt even bother reading comments at all

Most if not all animes actually have something like this :) You can totally pause to read them if you'd like, but a lot of times they are pretty unimportant. Both Attack on Titan and Jujutsu kaisen are Shounen Anime.(a type of genre). Although both are great recommendations for first timers, just like Tv Shows and Movies, Anime also has alot of genre. Not all Anime are dark, not all anime are horror. Usually Shounen animes like Demon Slayer or Fullmetal Alchemist are recommended since they are mostly more action packed. I hope anime first timers can understand that Animes is a type of Medium. There are also Comedy Animes or Romance Anime and so on. Ive been following both of your channel since a year ago and I really think both of you will enjoy Frieren:Beyond journey’s end. Both of you are like the sweetest reactor out there and who made them watch Aot 😭 (It’s hella great but their sweet soul 😭😭😭)

anime is from Japan, and cartoons are from the US... the difference is in the point the stories want to make. Japan puts a lot of psychology into anime. AOT is a strong one for start :) i hope you will enjoy it because this one is a masterpiece

One tip I'll give you is: Pay close attention to things that are said. Write it down if you have to. Sub can be hard if you're not used to it (in my country it's basically the standard since everything's in English but that's not the native tongue here so everything's subbed, so I grew up with it), and this story is genuinely amazing and has twists and turns you will not see coming, which can be confusing. Edit: Oh and read those cards they show in between episodes. You can do so after the episode is over just going back to read them. They hold some pretty vital info for understanding the world ^^ Edit edit: Armin is a boy, not a girl ;) And no, Eren's voice actor is the same throughout the show. He's extremely good at making Eren sound different than at the start though in these few episodes, to show the passage of time

Guys, so happy you are starting anime..a few tips since its your first --- Have pen and paper and note down names, events, lines everything that seems important. Storylines get very complicated and many new characters get introduced...so your notes will help a lot. Also avoid openings and endings of episodes since they are a little spoilery..

Right here again in someone's AOT reactions because this was in my recommendations. Because I love this show... 1. If there's no TO BE CONTINUED, KEEP WATCHING (Except Season 3 Episode 12 which has a mid-credits *teaser*) 2. Mid-episode slides are world-building tools of the show--some are trivial, some give very important context. 3. There are extra episodes called OVA (Original Video Animation) / OAD (Original Animation DVD). Two are World-building, Three are Character-building. The ones important IN MY OPINION would be OVA#1 (Episode 3.5 -- between Seasons 1 and 2), OVA# 4 & 5 (Episodes 0.5A and 0.5B -- between Seasons 1 & 2) and OVA# 8 (Unnumbered Episode--mid-Season 3 between episodes 12 &13) *You could finish the series fully without even touching any of the OVAs.* BUT if you decide to watch a few, I pray they include OVA#1 in between Seasons 1 & 2. _Because some OVAs get more love than others._ And "fans" would even recommend a youtube parody reaction over these.. Which is sad...
