Did you notice the melody of Garth's Dr. Pepper commercial had the same feel as his then-current single at the time, "Wrapped Up in You"?

Well then that’s the pretty clear inspiration, isn’t it? haha. I haven’t listened to much post-1993 Garth since his stuff is hard to find.

P.S. "Ford Truck Man" does sound more metal, than Toby; I much prefer "Look Again", which is more in the vein of Toby's country rock style. I also love the triple shot of Toby at 9:58, in that commercial! Michael Salomon, who has directed most of Toby's music videos since 1997, did a great job directing both commercials!

@@GrantHI haven’t listened or bought Garth’s cds since the mid 90s. I have many of his early songs .
