Thing about Audrey is that her and Ben were arranged to be married, or something of the sort, but that was shattered when Mal put Ben under a love spell. However, Ben started to genuinely fall in love with Mal and not only did he not even talk to Audrey about it; she was left out of everything. Plus, there was no repercussions for what Mal did. With her absent from the second film, due to her having attended summer school, she was unaware of the royal engagement between Mal and Ben. So upon returning in this film, Audrey seeing Ben propose to Mal in front of everyone; not to mention that her own aunt/grandmother was mocking her that her mother could get a man in her sleep, broke her

Mello, if you haven't watched the Cinderella of 1997, with Brandy yet. You may want to watch it just before you watch Descendants 4 Rise of Red for some continuity. I think it's apart of the Disney+ library. I remember first watching it with my Mom and my eldest daughter back in 1997. It was lovely, divine and simply beautiful. There's this french film called, Diva, that was made during the 1980s that's a really good action film too that you may also enjoy. I don't know where it's available because I have the dvd and I bought that several years ago but you could check different streaming services and youtube.

I know most people will dissuade you from Descendants: The Royal Wedding, but I think it’s worth checking out as it’s the last film to focus on Ben and Mal as Descendants: The Rise of Red will begin a new story with new VKs and AKs and have China Anne McLain returning as Uma. Brandy Norwood and Paolo Montalban who portrayed Cinderella and Prince Charming in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella (1997), another iconic musical film that I highly recommend for you to watch, will be reprising their roles as well. I wished to mention that some of the Descendants characters are considered LGBTQ+; there was a deleted scene from Descendants 2 of Harry and Gil kissing. Even Dove Cameron had mentioned that she had considered Mal pansexual. If you loved this film trilogy, I highly recommend the Z-O-M-B-I-E-S trilogy and in time for Halloween, the Halloweentown tetralogy. 🐉🐙👸😇😈💜💙 💛❤️🩵🖤🧡🤎🩷
