You have to watch Siren Song live in the Swan. I had a huge crush on Andy Bell as a teen. He was just not hiding his truth and back then we didn’t have a lot of us to look up to. Always is one of my fave videos of them. The Gold helmet! What in house of blue leaves is going on?! I love it!

My favorite Erasure album is their most experimental. It's just called Erasure and it's just so different (and has the best flow of all their albums IMHO). It has some songs with the avant garde vocalist Diamanda Galás who can do unearthly things with her voice. "Fingers and Thumbs (Cold Summer's Day)" & "Rock Me Gently" are great on this album. I think it would be a great contender for a full album video like you've done for Kylie.

If you want experimental Erasure, try their new album "Day-Glo". After my first play-through, I was like, "You guys...have been holding out on us...for *years*?" 🤣 Give it a whirl you might like it.

Erasure are sublime excellence. I have every album they've released bar 2. If you're doing Part 4 at any time, I suggest 'Don't Say You Love Me', 'Blue Savannah', 'Star' and 'Heavenly Action', one of their earliest hits. Maybe 'Rock Me Gently' and 'Turns The Love To Anger' too. I can also seriously, seriously, EMPHATICALLY recommend another 80s synth band from the UK called the Pet Shop Boys. Their cover of Elvis Presley's 'Always On My Mind' is a must-listen, as is 'What Have I Done To Deserve This?', a collaboration they did with Dusty Springfield. And 'Liberation' is one of the most perfect pieces of pop music I have ever heard. Another couple of good bands, both featuring vocalist Jimmy Somerville, are Bronski Beat and The Communards. And Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark. And Gary Numan's 'Radio Heart'. Can you tell I'm an 80s Synth-pop geek?

The club version of Always was so much better than the video/single version. Song really slapped in 1994 when it came out. I love these little trips down 90s club music Bryson. Erasure is a great Techno Pop duo.Before Erasure, Vince Clarke was in another Techno Pop duo called Yazoo (Yaz in the U.S.).

Love Erasure! You should check out Yaz/Yazoo, Vince Clarke's project post Depeche Mode and pre-Erasure. I always thought that Vince sought out a voice similar to Alison Moyet's (of Yazoo) when he chose Andy Bell. I can close my eyes and imagine either of them singing.
