The phone scene was real, he actually got hit with the phone and Matthew really yelled at him with pure emotion, it’s funny cause they got asked if he ever apologized to Matthew and of course Matthew played his part and said “no he did not” and crossed his arms 😂

The original plot for scream 2 was really good. Halle and Mickey were supposed to be the ghostfaces but the plot got leaked

Drew Barrymore read the script and asked to play Casey and die early to make the movie feel like the rules didn’t apply since you went in assuming she was the lead and would ultimately survive as the final girl. She was at the center of all the promotional materials too so it was shocking. And of course w/o social media and the internet like it is now to spoil the movie it made it even better.

Early on, Drew admitted she got cold feet about being part of the movie in case it flopped as horror films weren't popular at the time. She suggested playing "First Girl." Her agent said "She dies 10 pages in." She liked the scene and promised to promote it the same as if she was the lead actress. So it wasn't about being shocking. They just got their head around losing their "name talent" by realizing it could surprise the audience and that was an unintended bonus.

If you pay attention, you can notice details between the killers. Billy likes to choke his victims and Stu raises his knife with both hands above his head before he stabs.

You can't go by height for the _Scream_ killers; it's usually a stuntman and the producers have said the height the killers appear as in costume bears no correlation to their out-of-costume height. (Weird, I know.)

the kill of Casey is weird anyway. Its impossible to pinpoint who was where the moment they both enter Casey's house. Kevin Williamson has stated he believes Stu killed Casey but the final movie is quite different to his script, and the murder of Casey parallels Billy's attempted murder of Sidney right at the end.

The original script for Scream 2 had Derek (the boyfriend) and Hallie (the best friend) be the killers along with Billy's mom. But because the script got leaked they had a lot of rewrites for this movie. Hallie would've been our first Black ghost face T-T

You can't judge who killed who by looking at Ghostface's height and build because it's the same stuntman in the costume no matter who the killer is. Caller ID became hugely popular after the first Scream movie. Caller ID sales tripled after the movie came out. Before that a lot of people didn't have it. We still had answering machines to screen our calls or we just answered the phone. I always figured either Stu or Billy had issues with the principal...or they could have killed him just to confuse the cops. 14:23 and that's why everyone should know basic gun operation and safety. Scream 2: The killers were originally *supposed* to be the friend/roommate and the boyfriend but they changed it after that plot point was leaked.

Billie was the one who killed Casey and Stu Strung her up, Billie went to Sid’s to destract her while he abducted her Dad, you can usually tell when “Billie” is on the phone because he the one that plays games with the victims, “Stu” is more to the point but the actual phone voice is Roger L Jackson he plays the voice in all movies.

Scream 1 Stu improved 2 best lines. Billy accidentally slipped phone out and hit Stu. Which improved. You hit me with phone dick. Then when Stu said my mom and dad are gonna be so mad at me it was improved on the spot. Original script for scream 2 was killers Derek the bf and hallie best friend and mrs loomis. Script got leaked so changed it to Mickey and mrs loomis. Scream 3 originally had two ghostface fans of Stu killing for Stu masterminding from jail. Two funny facts, that You could missed on: 1. Dewey actor rejected Billy role, because he wanted to kiss his long term crush(FRIENDS fan?) Courtney Cox. So, seeing kiss with her is in plan for Dewey, he insisted on getting THAT ROLE. Paid him off with long term marriage and children (unlike... Ok. No spoils. But in RL they got devorced in 2013, so Gale/Dewey thing is understandable, too). 2. Stu got at his attic dolls, that by zooming camera someone proved, are posed same as Casey, Steve and Principal when killed. Probably, having his own 'killer shrine' is fun, too. 😉

Not going to lie. You weren't far off with Angelina cuz in the original script she was the secondary killer but they had to do some quick changes to the plot to stop the ending from ending up online. And they ended up cutting her as the accomplice and they just left in some foreshadowing
