When you think about it, all of the Ghostfaces have been incredibly narcissistic. Scream 4 and onwards just started making it all obvious. All of the Ghostfaces - something goes wrong in their lives (ranging from something major to something petty), they respond by killing people ranging from those who were directly involved, to those who were acquainted with what went wrong, to people who had literally nothing to do with what went wrong. Something goes wrong in Sidney's life - and she rebuilds her life. Every time something goes wrong - her mother being killed, finding out her mother was having affairs, targeted by a serial killer, targeted by crank calls, targeted by a serial killer a second time, targeted by a serial killer a third time, Hollywood keeps making movies about her life, targeted by a serial killer a fourth time, targeted by a serial killer a fifth time, hearing a serial killers come back for the sixth time - every single time, she doesn't take it out on strangers and bystanders. She rebuilds her life, step by step, piece by piece, day by day, she work on picking herself back up and getting control of her life back. Even working as a phone consultant for victims of abuse in the third movie. Because she's not a narcissist.

Either Sam is gonna be psycho next movie and kill bad ppl and so she’s murdering ppl that “deserve it” so we get a movie from ghostfaces side, or Sam will be a red herring and Tara will be ghostface for some out of left field reason. Your assessments are spot on. The whole concept of "Let's bring back Billy Loomis, the original killer" negates that there were two and this isn't a horror franchise where a killer needs to be brought back. These are murder mysteries. And the whole concept of Billy having a kid despite being killed at 17... with who? He dated Sidney for a year. He was having sex with someone on the side, got her pregnant, all while masterminding a plan to go on a killing spree? So stupid. This is what happens when you let fanatics take over a franchise. They have ideas but don't think them through and execute them right, as you said.

Like okay maybe it makes sense for Billy to cheat on Sidney but where did the aunt and cousin come from?? Other movies we should get on this channel - list inspired by the Scream franchise: Serial Mom (1994) - dark comedy satire about a friendly suburban mum who's also a serial killer, starring Matthew Lilliard (Stu from Scream 1), directed by the Pope of Trash himself John Waters (otherwise known as the Prince of Puke and the King of Camp). The Babadook (2014) - Tara's favourite scary movie. Australian Horror movie that never quite leaves your head. The Nightingale (2018) - by the same director as the Babadook. Not technically a horror movie, but a movie with a. lot of horrific things happening in it. The villain reminds me of the Ghostfaces - does nothing but hurt people, deliberately and repeatedly, but acts as if they have a right to do it, and never stop complaining about how they've been mistreated and whining about how they haven't got what they think they deserve and acting like they're the victim. The lead characters....well what they've been through makes the Ghostfaces reasons for murder seem even pettier than they already did. It's a difficult movie to watch because of the horrible things that happen in it so only watch if you're sure. Set when Tasmania was known as Van Diemen's Land. Carmen (2022) - movie loosely (emphasis on loosely) based on the novella and opera Carmen, starring Melissa Barrera (Sam from Scream 5 and 6) speaking Spanish. We also get to hear her sing. You don't have to see the opera or the any other movies based on the book and opera to see this movie.

I love the Scream franchise! Some theories about the franchise are really cool. One being that Stu Macher is still alive. There's also a super cool theory that Charlie Walker is still alive with tons of believable evidence. I love Rory Culkin! The theory also makes a case for Kirby being connected to it and basically working with Charlie. It's a wild rabbit hole! I can't wait for Scream 7!

I love the scream franchise but I feel like they should switch the killer motives for the next movies it gets boring, Jill motive wasn't the greatest but it was somewhat different and I agree with your statement that you said at the end they should definitely have the next killer to be someone who was effected in the past and comes back it would be a nice twist and so far 2 of the movies mentioned that one of the killers could be someone who has encountered being attacked by ghost face maybe that's a possibility of foreshadowing?? for the next movies to come.
