I love how the definition of evil won't kill kids like so many reactors think, but normal humans have killed/raped kids. lol People also forget he tried to kill his 10 year old niece in part 4. He also killed that kid with the skeleton mask that stole the candy from the Myers house. Even the baby crying he would have killed, he just decided not to, not that it's a baby or some shit.

I'm such a huge fan of the Halloween franchise, and though I do find some of the sequels to be inundated with questionable choices, 'Halloween Kills' does a terrific job in areas others don't quite succeed; for starters, the score composition is terrific, the effort put into recreating the original Myers' house is fantastic, and though it is utterly perplexing they had wasted the returning characters, it's still great to have seen them again. I'm a cinephile in general, but this franchise in particular, I can discuss for hours easily. I'm glad you're taking the time to watch them. If you were local, it's likely I'd have bought you a coffee or something and asked, "Did you notice this," "Had you picked up on that?" I cannot tell you much of anything about sports or video games, but the history of film and music? Absolutely. Definitely avoid spoilers for 'Halloween Ends.' I'll tell you this, though: You won't expect what the story is.

The guy who played Loomis in the flashback was actually the production's set construction coordinator Tom Jones Jr., who just happened to be a dead ringer for Donald Pleasence. They just added a few prosthetics to fill out his face a little more and dubbed in a more Loomis-sounding voice.

That cop doesn't remember when he was 6, he said Michael killed his sister when Myers was 6, which everyone in the whole town knows. Guy who plays Myers in the flashback, he played Myers in a lot of youtube halloween fan films of the last like 6-8 years. The film makers liked his walk/presence and hired him. The loomis actor died in like 1995. This dude worked on the movie, looked a lot like him, they added some make up/prosthetics, and someone else did the voice, no CGI or deep fakes. Myers was strangling dudes in the first movie. If you pay attention, Myers is in the old people's bathroom, with like alcohol/peroxide and bandage wrappers all over the sink, he was cleaning his blown up hand lol. The whole movie is about Myers being pissed off, it's why he kills so many and does it brutally. They said he kills more in this one, then ALL the other Halloweens combined. Shit in this alone he kills roughly half of everyone killed by Jason. They told you in the 2018 movie that he's not after laurie. He could give a shit about her, the Dr was the one trying to get them together to see how they would react. This is not like the old films where they made them siblings, and he goes after his family. Myers isn't fully human, Carpenter said he has a slight supernatural edge, he said he made him to be the actual boogeyman, something unkillable. The first movie back in 78 was supposed to be the only one, no sequels, which in a way would have been scarier. They showed all the places he had been to in that movie with his breathing getting heavier suggesting he can be everywhere, or nowhere, and that you can't kill him.

This experience in theaters was fantastic. This was the most slasher style Halloween and I loved it. People bitched/complained about wanting more kills, and the directors/writers said ok, and gave them a full on massacre and then bitched about it. Plus they really got fucking Jim Cummings. Dude has been on the rise and I'm so here for it. His latest movie is really great/funny. Thunder Road is hilarious. Plus The Wolf of Snow Hollow was amazing.

Great reaction as usual. Definitely give Ends a chance. It’s more experimental in its approach and far from a traditional Halloween movie. You’ll either love it or hate it: there’s not much of an in between. I love it but get why it’s not for a lot of people.

A downgrade from 2018 bc the town was the worst part of this movie like the idiocy was insane to me. They tank the movie sm from all the awesome Michael moments, the great flashbacks, and the brutal kills that happen in the movie. It’s still watchable at least but damn tommy got on my nerves and was happy he got the chop. The legacy characters were absolutely wasted in this movie and they weren’t needed whatsoever.
