I love Host! Fun facts: each actor literally recorded on their own and the director directed them via video calls. Plus, they all did their own stunts in terms of like the shattering glass, the chair being yanked back, etc. Very cool. Also, the mask filter that's floating in air is a reference to Alice Sweet Alice (which I know you just love lol)

How the hell did they pull off the chair dragging?? VIA ZOOM?! People out here looking like they are using a potato to film themselves and this chick is doing special effects for major motion pictures 😅

@@SalvageRelease69 The actress' boyfriend yanked the chair with a rope, and then they edited out the rope. They did an impressive amount of CGI in this. Each actor/actress had an iPhone attached to their laptop to capture the Zoom call footage (so it'd be higher quality), but otherwise the call was real. They shot the individual scenes separately and then spliced them in. Teddy is an actual stunt person, who lives in that house with other stunt people, so they did more elaborate scenes (with a crane and the fire). It was a masterful feat, pulling this off, especially with everyone in lockdown. I can't get over it.

I just realized that all the hanging details (the hanged bodies, Radina’s boyfriend dropped from above, Jinny being dragged up and then having her neck snapped, the noose in Teddy’s house) were all references to Jack.
