The author of HxH is probably one of the best storytellers in Manga, and HxH is essentially his masterpiece. The anime starts off pretty heavily censored, but that goes away in time.

Yeah this remake version much "family friendly" at the beginning. and become more dark to the mid and ending.. But the old version much dark from the beginning, but doesn't matter which one version u watch they are the same, just have a little difference detail, the main plot still the same.

Have fun wat HxH was my first manga i invested my pocketmoney in. ahh, i remember reading every monday first hour in school the Banzai with Naruto, Hxh and what was it? the sanddevil or like that. Even the teacher gave up couse at least we did something usefull... we read a "book" and discussed and imagined... i think one of us even did a report on it, which only got a two or three if i remember right. Nonetheless have a nice time watching this anime, its just different
