Dylans advice to the first one is great, I just really want to underline how you never should feel like you "give in" regardless if it's your first time or not. It's always something you should enthusiasticly want. Sure you can be nervous and giddy before the first time but you should ultimately really, really want. Prisoners is a movie that is so close to my heart because 1) I somehow put everything together like a third into the movie, which is wild for me, and 2) there’s a subversion of expectations regarding a mentally ill/disabled character, which made me so happy as an autistic person 💕

Barbarian was one of the first SCARY horror movies I’d ever watched. I went into the theatre to watch Pearl but got the theatre wrong, so me and my friends watched Barbarian instead. I’d never heard anything about it, but it was a FANTASTIC movie!

I think Fear Street 1666 did higher than expected because of the build-up from the first two movies. The whole confusion of who Sara Fier is and trying to connect her to everything was so tense and the third movie slowly put the pieces together while the tension was still building

Barbarian is the first horror movie in seven years to make me scream. It is one of the best, in my opinion. Free Guy is on my top 5 list of favorite movies because even though it isn't "great", it makes me feel genuine joy, among various other emotions.
