Watching - Sitcom Review - Part 1

This is a great British sitcom from the 80s & 90s, a great cast of characters, stories & the humour is top notch. All respects to Jim Hitchmough for writing this amazing show, the actors of this show & everyone behind this underrated classic!! 😀👍
Another thing to point out, I recorded this on Liza Tarbuck’s birthday so that is why I wished her a happy birthday!! 🥳👍

This was a great show back in the day. Very underrated, but the trouble was it was on ITV, with the advert brake in the middle it lasted around 24 minutes. It was also on at 8.30pm on a Friday night, and everybody who would watch this went out. I did, as I was in my 20s. This has become a classic, and a bit of a cult following now. I have the DVD box set and is still around £38.00 to buy.

It was a great show yes, there was a lot of “show not tell” which was nice and I’d recommend the DVD box set to anyone. 😀👍

@thebatman4083 I remember when Terry put his arm around Brenda, Malcolm came back into The Grapes and Terry got caught red handed. This was the episode “Missing”, if you remember that one. 😀👍
