You ain’t wrong about Luffy vs Katakuri. He was getting his ass whooped for like 90% of the fight

Katakuri and Luffy do have very similar powers! Katakuri's ability turns his body into mochi, which is a kind of confection, and it allows him to stretch like Luffy as well as reshape his body in weird ways. Katakuri was basically a better version of Luffy in every way at the start of the fight and Luffy spent basically the entire fight upping his abilities so he could fight Katakuri as an equal. It's a really unique One Piece fight.

You have to keep in mind that Luffy is made of rubber so he can take much more of a beating than any other one piece character. But it’s definitely been a debate in the one piece community on whether Luffy should’ve won that fight or not. No one can deny that katakuri was manhandling him 90% of the fight

Nah, Katakuri fight was fair. Most times Luffy don't overpower his opponents. He overendure. He is a rubber roach that you just cannot kill, no matter how hard you try.

I would say Katakuri won the fight but Luffy won the war. Out of sheer respect, Katakuri accepted his defeat. Oda stated this before, Luffy doesnt kill(mostly), he just destroys the villains motivations. Though without a single doubt Katakuri was levels above Luffy at the time

Here’s a suggestion, you can watch the fight between Luffy and Rob Lucci, older fight but an absolute classic and one of my favorites. Also someone said Katakuri is mochi but realistically you were right, Mochi is a dough like substance.

That fight with King was Zoro's hardest fight yet and one of the best in the entire series. As the Beasts Pirates' head All-Star and Kaidou's right-hand man. Kaidou kown as King of the Beasts, who is also strongest man on earth. In terms of combat, King is shown to be extremely formidable, with his 1,390,000,000 Beli bounty (When it hits a billion and beyond..that means kinda god-like level in my eyes) illustrating his fearsome reputation. A veteran pirate, King has been part of Kaidou's crew for over three decades, as his first recruit, and was in his youth acknowledged by Kaidou for having extraordinary strength, being named "King" in recognition of it

"Zoro's hardest fight" Zoro literally single handedly held Kaido off of Luffy, Kid and Law. He was battered and damaged by Kaido, his body completely broken. He was then given a wonder drug by chopper and was back at it again with King whom is not far off of the level of Kaido and big mom himself. Zoro took a couple of 'hits' but not a single one from King's sword, if anything he was again battered and beat. Not because of his inability, but because of 'King's ability'. Once Zoro figured out King's power and weakness, it was game over, exactly as Zoro said. Hardest fights? I disagree. Zoro was operating at 1% and at a disadvantage from the get go, and once he found King's weakness, it was gg. I would state that Mr 1 was his hardest fight, 100% vs 100% and it wasnt necessarily Daz Bones DF that he had to overcome, but it was him overcoming his own weakness. Since then, Aside from Fujitora, Kuma, and Mihawk, Zoro hasn't struggled with any of his opponents, and any struggle that has been visualised has been Zoro taking it easy for sake of drama and story progression.

I wouldn’t say that katakuri was stronger both at the time were pretty equal with maybe luffy being slightly more powerful what gave katakuri the edge was his ability to see far into the future which is why luffy had to rely on speed and change the trajectory of his attacks randomly like that so that katakuri can’t see it coming ultimately tho luffys stamina is why he won dude just never quits if they fought now tho luffy would destroy him in seconds

I personally don’t like when the rocks turn into cubes it’s lazy animation one piece use to do so good on small details when they cut something or broke something in the world it broke in a realistic way made the show better I love the animation in wano until it comes to the fights they just don’t feel like one piece anymore
