I know it's been a while, but I'm just glad you're back Gootecks. I've been in and out of watching SF, but I will always fondly remember Excellent Adventures. Got me through some rough times.

I love watching the clinical analysis of the matches. All we watch is the actual tournament play, and not seeing the work put in on the road to the next. Amazing content!

Wow, thanks! I'm glad you're into it! Watching the matches is just part of the cycle. Train -> Compete -> Review -> Repeat

Man, gootecks. It's so good to see you persevering and hanging in there after everything that happened. Love it. Looking forward to seeing more content

The lead up to this video is pretty good, bro. This week was about the Replays, huh? Thanks, Coach. The breakdowns are insightful and helpful.

Liking the editing here. I look at my replays all the time. Especially againt MUs im not super familiar with.

Thanks it was all @nudrawbes! If that's the case, you're already way ahead of the game. Most players don't bother 🤷♂️

I'm finally reacting to DI. Had to move all my buttons over to the right so I could put DI on the square button. I watch my losses and noticed I was being hit with it when my pressure was blocked. Now it's right next to jab, it's so much easier.
@crosscountertv Жыл бұрын
Ayyyy! Now that's what I call adaptation and evolution! 💪 I've contemplated doing something similar before but it was too much for me to deal with the slightly different angle on the right six buttons. IMO we're not too far away from more tailored button layouts for different characters and preferences. Good for you for taking the time to actually sit there and figure it out

Hey, this is a sick idea Gootecks! Especially from a standpoint of teaching people how to get better. You don’t learn shit without looking at your losses

Thanks! Glad you're into it. Seems like even though this video didn't get as many views, the people who did watch it watched for longer, on average.

The general reception of SF6 seems to be good, which is a good thing. I'd like to see the weekend couch back, now that SFV is gone and forgotten. It was a mainstay of your channel, even if your just solo and playing a few online matches for an hour with commentary. I know everyone probably brings this up, but it's nice to have some consistent content to look forward to watching once a week.

Gooey, you seriously need to stream more. I don't really wanna watch anyone else's channel Gooey, I am appealing to you: please grind until your viewership has been ressurrected like Gill. I believe you can do it, I just don't believe you feel like doing it. But there's no one else I wanna watch but you

When (if) you play RPGs, do you end the game with a full inventory of potions? Use those resources man stop being stingy!

Di is such a scrub mechanic. lmfao
@crosscountertv Жыл бұрын
I don't think it's scrubby, but I do feel the difference between playing on suboptimal console and playing on semi-optimized PC
@mkooij Жыл бұрын
It's definitely not a scrub mechanic. It's perfect imho. It's always a threat you have to have in the back of your mind but it's easy to react to and it's applicable on all levels of play Edit: also it tells you you made a mistake.
@HungarianWarHorse Жыл бұрын
Its actually very high level people just arent used to it. In a year you’ll see pros reacting to it all day, its just people who think theyre better than they really are who call it a scrub mechanic cus they haven’t adapted yet
@IronKnee963 Жыл бұрын
@@HungarianWarHorse Only scrubs think adapting is the problem. It's just a bad comeback mechanic. Even if you adapted to it, it forces you to keep it in the back of your mind. People act like there aren't situations in which you can't counter it. Those are the true scrubs.
@IronKnee963 Жыл бұрын
@@mkooij That's the definition of a scrub mechanic. Anybody can use it without any strategy whatsoever. The person on the receiving end has to think, not the person executing the move. Thanks for proving my point.
