The story behind the song is when John was referring to his break from music; before the award winning Double Fantasy album. So the song has certain sentimental values to a lot of people and you have made this version absolutely beautiful. Your smooth golden voice has captured every essence and you have delivered it wonderfully! 👏👏 The recording as per standard is superb with the stereo piano and your vocals on the Manley mic! Plus the mix is excellent thanks again to Elvis Garagic. 🔊 🎧 As mentioned prior, your arrangement is clever and creative! Take for example early at 0:24; ♫ "Well they give me all kinds of warnings"♪, with the little run of notes! Brilliant! 🎹 Your visual animation is sincere, as you're conveying the song! You can tell you really mean and hang onto every lyric! Such admirable performing!❗️ At 0:42 is a sample of stellar singing with; ♫ "Surely you're not happy now you no longer play the game"♪. The way you sustain "game~~" and add vibrato is magnificent! 😊 More brilliant phrasing and expression at 1:09 with; ♫ "Designed to enlighten me"♪. It's worth mentioning through-out this performance, that your piano playing is impeccable; whilst you are singing live! Pure talent! 🏆 There's a nice full view of the Steinway & Sons grand piano at 1:13; with excellent positioning of the camera! There's even the creativity of your reflection in the lid. (Bravo Christine!) Your white Beatles T-shirt is also a great contrast to the black body of the piano. 👩‍ 🎹 More terrific vocal sustain & vibrato at 1:27 with; ♫ "On the ball~~"♪. With a lovely touch on the piano added! Simply adore the expression at 2:08; ♫ "Oh people asking questions"♪. At 2:38 you give splendid camera work with; ♫ "As if I've lost my mind"♪. Plus stellar expression at 3:13 with; ♫ "I just had to let it go"♪; and at 3:24 with; ♫ "I just had to let it go"♪. Another magnificent rendition of a very difficult song to play and sing at the same time all from memory. If one listens closely to the timing of the notes and chords in conjunction but as opposed to the singing you will appreciate this girl's talents. For me, this is one of John Lennon's best compositions and most complicated rhythms. Mesmerizing Emily. You do this masterpiece justice. Love and respect.
