I'm gonna do something I never thought I would do... defend Bella. Bella was traumatized from the events of Twilight, almost murdered at her own birthday party, and then left to fend for herself. She told Jacob she was never going to be over Edward. He literally said, "Well I'll keep trying". Trying to force a relationship on someone that barely has the will to live and has made it clear that they only need a friend is wild. Jacob's behavior is weird and predatory. I understand that he's really young (15-16) ... but guilt tripping her into a kiss is just gross. I would also like to point out that it is okay to lean on the people that love you the most when you are struggling. It's totally normal... but everyone acting like she owes Jacob something is wrong. She doesn't owe him a chance, the time of day, or even acknowledgement of his feelings. A "NO" is a "NO" regardless of how much the other person can sense your attraction to them. ALL THREE OF THESE CHARACTERS SUCK

I love these books and movies in a non-jokey way. They’re a comfort for me. I absolutely relate to Bella in New Moon when the pages just went by months without a single word. She was numb. She wasn’t fully there. That’s realistic for depression. She has been through so much, and they are so cruel about her. Coercion is not consent. Jake has forced himself on her multiple times now. He’s gross. Book Charlie congratulated him for kissing her against her will in front of Bella as she’s raging, and calling for Edward. The movies tried to make him a better dad, though. I need a movie about him piecing everything together. Charlie the Vampire Hunter.

Thank you. And the toxicity of the egos here. They literally advocated for Bella freezing to death to save Edward's ego. And that it was okay to tell Jacob they are getting married before a big battle that could distract him and get him killed and then made no mention of Jacob manipulating Bella to kiss him (when he was actually talking about going to kill something and don't care if he die RIGHT BEFORE a BIG BATTLE). She didn't lead Jacob on, she literally always said she needed a friend. He is not owed her attention from helping to build her back up (that is what real friends do).

@awake3607 I wouldn't go so far as to say that she didn't lead him on... she knew about his feelings and she was still very touchy with him, she told him that she thinks he's beautiful, she said he was warm like the sun, she offered to runaway with him (when she thought he was being pressured by Sam), and she almost allowed a kiss to happen. All of these incidents, plus the fact that she can't stay away from him, is proof that he was right... she loves him too. She's just not "In love with him". They're very different things

I don’t know if you guys noticed this, but in the 1st movie, the color scheme is really blue and cold, since the 1st book is all about “the cold ones”. In the second movie, the color scheme is very warm since it’s largely about the wolves and how warm blooded they are. Then eclipse, the colors are a lot more neutral to symbolize both teams working together. And in breaking Dawn part 2, everything is really vibrant and you’ll see why :)

The crazy part is that Carlisle found Rosalie bleeding after being gangraped and was like mmmm.. Edward would like her lmao. Bella isn't that bad when you realize that she was being neglected as a kid by her mother, she was like paying the bills, men were in and out the house, etc. So I think she really wanted the family that the cullens offered, it looks perfect from the outside and it will last forever. The commenter who called in talking about Bella trying to convince Edward to sleep with her before marriage, “knowing” that he had a boundary about that, was completely wrong, that is not what happened. He had always said that his physical boundaries were because he was afraid of hurting her. She was afraid, rightly so, that once she became a vampire and didn’t risk being hurt by it, she would be wild and crazy and wouldn’t feel that way about him again for a long time. He agreed that they would try to be physically intimate while she was still human because he knew it was a valid concern, but just told her that he didn’t want it to happen that night because he wanted to wait to be married first. She absolutely agreed to it once she understood his reasoning. He had simply never mentioned that reason before.

Always on the move, Bella never being able to settle somewhere and with Phil her mother OFFERED to stay home with Bella but Bella could literally tell she didnt want to stay, so she decided to move with Charlie. As well as not being a stable mother for Bella, her mother wasn't very motherly but acted more as a friend and Bella was the one having to take care of things from a young age. So Bella being in the "caretaker" mindset decided to put Renee first and leave, which is something Renee shouldve been doing. She was a pretty neglectful mother, which is why I think Bella is so eager to join the Cullens. Not saying she doesn't love her mom or charlie, but seeing such a close-knit family must be enticing.

Also they talk about mates in this book and imprinting. Since Jacob never imprinted on Bella and never will that means he has a mate out there somewhere. What is going to happen when Jacob finds her. Obviously he’s going to kick Bella to the curb. While on the other hand I believe that Edward and Bella are destined mates and that Bella never loved Jacob in that way, she just feels connected to him in a way. You’ll see why I say this in the next 2 movies

Just want to make sure it is understood that Bella definitely did not get either of her dad’s friends killed. Waylon was made up for the movies and didn’t exist in the books, but even in the movies his made up death had nothing to do with Bella. No one knew it was going to happen and no one could’ve prevented it. Harry Clearwater had a heart attack, it was due to his cholesterol levels and not anything Bella did either. Victoria never actually confronted any of the humans. Even if it happened exactly like the movie showed and he had a heart attack because of seeing Victoria, that would not have been Bella’s fault. Victoria is after her because they had to kill James, who was after her for fun, for literally just existing and hanging out with the Cullens.

It's amazing how women will turn girls into the victim even in situations where they are clearly predators. Bella is 18 in this scene, Jacob is 16. In new moon he was 15 and she was 17. She's been emotionally manipulating someone years younger than her since her deceased pedo left her. She literally pretended to be sleep while Edward and Jacob were arguing over her... I think that some people forget wolf lore within twilight. Jacob just spent part of the movie informing Bella about the relationship between Sam, Leah, and Emily. Leah and Sam were a couple, then her cousin comes to town, and Sam imprints on Emily and leaves Leah. Jacob is trying to force a romance with Bella, knowing that he has not imprinted on her. 18:05 I think part of it is that Jake can hear her heartbeat and smell the pheromones. I think she was attracted to him and loved him as a friend but REALLY loved Edward and was super attracted to him. In the books when she does realise and admits it to herself, and him there was turmoil there. She was always going to pick Edward but if he didn’t come back to her she probably would have ended up with Jake. Even when they kissed she saw their whole future, like what their life would be but with Edward there Jake was never really an option but she did like him a liiiiiiiittle more than as a friend.

@@NaturalAegyo I agree but look at it from Bella's perspective. She only really has Jack as her true friend and someone she can talk to about her problems and issues. Her mother and Father aren't close to her due to their poor upbring of her. Additionally, she is very mature for her age due to her upbringing, as such she is a loner who struggles to relate to people her age. Even her human friends are not close to her, as they don't have much in common and she can't be honest with them because of the supernatural elements in her life. So all she really has is Jacob as a friend, and she makes it very clear in the beginning that she is not interested in a romance with him. However, he kept repeatedly forcing the issue and as such she got slightly confused, so some areas were a little blurred. But for the most part, she still stuck by the belief that she didn't want a romance with Jacob, as she loved Edward, even if he was not an option. She should have cut contact with Jacob but it is understandable why she didn't. I think Bella handled the Jacob issue as best as she could, especially as Jacob was very manipulative and pushy. He threatens to essentially kill himself when he finds out about her engagement to Edward just before they fight the newborn army. So she does the only thing she can think of to stop it and that is to kiss him, like he wanted. Besides Bella knew that even if she did try and entertain the idea and potential for feelings for Jacob, there is no point. He didn't imprint on her, and thus there will always be the fear that he'll imprint and leave her.

I think teens do selfish things sometimes so you can grow out of it, but yes she was being selfish and secretive about her motives with Jacob and she did have other friends to reach out to.

"Who's this Justin Bieber looking vampire?" I'm laughing so hard, cause the movies and even books don't do him justice. Alec is Jane's (dom pain vamp) twin brother (as a human). Her power is outright pain, his is subduing all literal senses. I'd rather the pain. Side note: The tent scene is considered the scene that fueled the Edward/Jacob fandom, cause of how intimate they got in the books. This movie made me Team Rosalie. As an SA survivor, reading her story was just like oh hells yes. And in the book it states she killed them without letting a drop of blood fall. She was a newborn who did it without drinking from them cause she didn't want more of their filth in her. And I can so relate to that concept. I'm loving this reaction more than New Moon (granted New Moon i hate the most of the lot so). The pacing is better and I can tell what scenes you're talking about. Which I hope proves my thought that it was just the pacing for New Moon that I said in the video "these comments getting wild", cause I kinda thought Carianna (sp?) would have had more opinion about Rosalie's past and the only female wolf being hated on (Team Leah representing). I hate the fact that they don't understand why Bella loves jacob, and she also loves Edward. Jacob was there at her most vulnerable moment, when Edward left her basically the love of her life, Jacob was there to fill that empty void he was there to fill in that missing piece and she ended up falling in love with him, there is nothing wrong with that. But the thing is Bella did not feel that kind of way that Jacob feels towards her like relationship-wise because of her love for Edward. But Bella makes it very clear she loves Jacob and that she does not want to lose him and that he holds a very special place in her heart but he cannot stomach the thought that she is with his worst enemy and is in love with him. Let me start by saying i enjoyed this reaction and i love your channel. That being said.... How are you guys blaming Bella for falling in love with Jacob though??? Edward left, told her to move on.. She sat around waiting for him for months, he basically drove her into Jacobs arms and right when she almost was over him and started to develop feelings for Jacob he went and tried to kill himself like a dumbass and she goes and saves him.. i just don't get the hate... I can't help but feel like Adison and Brandon's reaction on this movie is being negatively impacted by all Carianna's Belle hate. Like she isn't even trying to understand the character and why she is doing what she does. Bella was a loner who never felt she fit in and had to grow up way to fast to be a mother to her own spastic scatter brained mom. There was NEVER a reason to have a team Jacob or team Edward. The author of the books made it clear but unfortunately the movie didn't unless you see the small clues they leave. I'll not spoil the end of the saga but I will say that the author described the fact that Bella and Jacob would have been soul mates if the met organically and there was no vampires because they wouldn't have turned werewolf. BUT because vampires are there and Edward is out of his life span/time line.. into theirs that she is drawn so strongly to him in a more powerful way.. so because that event messed up the soul mate stuff.. nature fixed Jacobs fate as their story goes on. There is nothing to hate about Bella if you realize her bad choices would have been far different if vampires do not exist and if you take soul mates into the authors narrative. It's a fantasy/paranormal fiction.. why so much hate like its real life and she stole your man.

I think the thing about the movies they don’t explain how much bells strings Jacob along. In the books she’s constantly stringing him along, she’ll tell him I don’t love you romantically but I can’t live without you. To a young boy at 15/16 those messages are very confusing. In the second book she constantly says Jacob gave her a reason to live and breath basically, like I get it but don’t string him along when he tells you how he feels. And also I wish they would have shown in the movie, when Bella asks Jake to kiss her, she “sees” a life with him, she she’s herself with him and if I’m not mistaken kids too. She can see growing old with him. That’s why the movies are trash they paint Jacob as this obsessive guy that can’t take no for an answer but don’t show why he keeps saying Bella loves him but won’t admit it to herself… which is true!! That’s why she’s so stunned when she comes back to Edward, because she finally realises that what Jake has been says is true.
