Yeah I was at this game and the second half crowd was definitely more into it that’s for sure! I was constantly having to be one of the few who were actually up and yelling in our section to get them going. Section 37 y’all need to bring it more next game we’re gonna need you! Lol go cats!

Lexington has to do something about better traffic control and parking before these big time games. I left Richmond at 530 and didn’t park till 7:05. Me and my fiance ran from our lot to the game and made before the first media timeout thank goodness. I mean I got on high street at 6:15. Took us almost 45 minutes to get down and even remotely close to Rupp to find a lot to park in. Still a qtr of a mile away. Freezing cold sprint. What made me so mad is you have people who aren’t even going to the game stopping and letting the whole YMCA parking lot out before they went. I was ready to commit a crime lol jk I thought I gave myself enough time to make it from Richmond to Rupp but I sure didn’t. Tuesday night game. I remember going to the Florida game when Jokim Noah and #1 Florida came to town and traffic wasn’t half as bad as it was Tuesday night.

I love Rupp, but it has so much more potential to be a unimaginably tough environment for a visiting team to play in. Too many periods of the crowd being quiet and the old hats sitting around the entire game. Just take a look at a smaller venue like The Hump for comparison. Small and insanely loud the entire game

Question/suggestion for coach Pope that he will probably never hear... I was just wondering especially in the new days of NIL, why hasn't the school ever thought to make some short prerecorded messages to remind people in the mornings that it is UK GAMEDAY and remind/ask BBN to remember to support the team/players? You could play them once or twice in the mornings of games on 98.1(or whoever) for people on the way into work and forget sometimes. Have Pope do one and maybe a couple of players each year. You could even have some former UK players do it also and just play random ones?
