The truth is the truth and always will be; no matter how many pastors fall away from it and claim a fresh new word, or claim to make it inclusive, more loving and acceptable, liberal, non offensive, modern or relevant. No matter how many pastors that declare scripture is outdated, subjective, or meant to be interpreted by each person according to the desires of their own heart / higher consciousness (anointed self) / christ / spirit guide (holy spirit) . You can't change the truth of God's Word. The simplicity in Christ Jesus. The Gospel. You cannot earn your salvation. No matter how sweet and acceptable your outward demeanor or charities you associate with. Jesus died for the sins of the world and rose triumphant on the third day. You must admit your sins and repent and surrender in obedience to Jesus. Be born again to be saved. Jesus is God the Almighty with no beginning and no end and He created all things. If you are not washed in His blood then you stand condemned and will be damned to eternal torment for eternity on judgment day. There is no other way. Jesus is the only way. No matter how many people this offends. No matter how many modern pastors disagree. No matter what you favorite person says or who is higher on the totem pole , is more acceptable or has more money or has more social graces and personality.
