Jamarcus Russell flamed out of the league for three seasons because he was out of shape, very inconsistent, and didn’t even understand how an NFL play works because he didn’t watch the tape. Steve Emtman was a monster of a DL his first season at Indy. That one clip they showed of him was from a game late in his rookie season against Miami. Indy had just scored a go-ahead TD, and then Dan Marino looked to be primed for one of his patented last-minute comebacks. He drove all the way to the Indianapolis 10, and on the ensuing play Marino threw a ball in Emtman's direction that Steve speared in mid-air and ran back 90 yards for a game-sealing defensive TD. Again, this was a defensive lineman! Injuries pretty much wrecked the remainder of his career, which was sad because he really looked great that first season.

2014 browns took both gilbert and manziel. that is the epitome of bad drafting

I'm ashamed to admit that I thought Rosen was gonna have a Fitzpatrick type career.

Leaf was waaaaaay worse than Russell. Leaf completed 48% of his passes with 14 tds and 35 picks in his 25 career games. Russell completed 52% and had 18 tds and 23 int in 31 games.

Yeah but Russel stole a lot of money from the Raiders he was probably in the top 10 of the highest paid QBs in the league at the time

As a Raiders fan I can honestly say the last 35 years is more embarrassing than Jamarcus Russell 🤦

You know this is a draft bust list when you say "Who?" for almost every pick.

Ryan Leaf is nothing short of an inspiration….said he was happier making 15 an hour working for a recovery center than making 5 million a year playing quarterback in NFL

So many just outright errors throughout this whole video.. Watchmojo clearly knows just as much about Football as I know about applying a tampon!

There was a very poor draft in '88 named Ted Gregory who was supposed to be this great NT prospect who was a major disappointment who was traded for Sean Knight, who was in the same spot in NOLA. The Broncos and Saints traded problems. Denver could have drafted Chris Spielman [4 PB 1 1st All-pro], CB Eric Allen [6PB,1st APro], Jumbo Elliott or HoF Thurman Thomas among others.

Also, there is Art Schlichter who was a 4 yr starter at Ohio State who had a gambling addiction who went 4th overall in 82'. This is a peculiar case where the bust status in life mirrored that of the NFL.

The legend of dion Jordan. It’s worse that the dolphins traded up for him, when lane Johnson would’ve been there.
