There were times when they tried making callbacks to the first movie, but I couldn't believe any of it, because the show made it out to look like Kuzco never learned anything from the first movie. The show was just bad in my opinion, even the straight to dvd sequel was better, and I didn't like that either. I loved the original movie though, very funny stuff.

The hyena's weren't the only sidekicks that turned on their master. Iago also killed his boss, Jafar. In Return of Jafar, Iago used the strength he had left to kick Jafar's lamp into a stream of lava. (I know the movie was crap, but let's face it, it's canon).

Nightmare Before Christmas falls under the same exception as Pixar films because it was produced by Touchstone and not by the Disney main studio. The original marketing for the film didn't event mention Disney.

Only change I would make would be to switch Smee to #4. Why? Because #3, Kronk got to star in the spin-off. #2, the hyenas, were one of only two villains that offed the main villain. #1, Iago, got to star in the spin-off AND offed the main villain. So having that broken up by Mr. Smee, regardless of how great a character is, just warps the logic behind it.

There's no one else but Iago who could've been #1 on the list, and really Gottfried's singing is actually pretty decent. He also got some notable episodes dedicated to him in the animated series. Yep, they certainly picked the right name for that particular character. By the way, he also offed his boss (or former boss at the time).

+Francisco Perez He abandoned his master though, and acted more as a pet, than a henchman. He was shown to help Jim out more than he did with Long John Silver. Morph was a great character though.
