I know some video game levels that made me rage. They are the following: The Doom (Shadow the Hedgehog) Mad Space (Sonic Adventure 2) Labyrinth Zone - Sonic the Hedgehog (1991) Scrap Brain Zone Act 3 - Sonic the Hedgehog (1991) Metropolis Zone (Sonic the Hedgehog 2) The worst part in Sonic games was the underwater segments and drowning if you don't get out of water or grab an air bubble in time. I want to bring up the hoverboard race from Conker's Bad Fur Day. Having to chase down the 3 cavemen who stole your cash, the course changing after smacking 2/3, and then having to grab the final cash at the start of the race was very frustrating. All while dealing with the dinosaur that crosses a section of the map from 2 sides. Yeah that hoverboard section sucks it's easier on live and reloaded but why the original is so frustrating is the hitboxes your hit box is just slightly too big same for the dinosaur especially the tail so you'll run into it and lose life after life just because of a unreasonably big hit box they fixed it in live and reloaded by making the hitboxes smaller

Another painfully frustrating level is the 3rd gym on Pokemon GSC and HGSS, Whitney. Its such a massive difficulty spikes and a unexpected one at that since she uses the normal type, a type which is underwhelming for that time of the game. What made this fight painful is that the boss mainly consists on luck. Its either you get lucky enough to catch a Drowzee on GSC or Heracross on HGSS, you get lucky enough not to get flinch hax to beat her, or you just die. There's also barely any encounter to beat her since the only weakness of her type is fighting and there are only 2 of them available at that point.

@@NoNames-vw3bq Bosses in general usually just take practice. Sometimes guides for specific bosses online can be helpful. For them specifically, if you haven't done this already you can push this fight until later in the game when you have more life and charms/charm slots. I heard of some people taking them as their first boss fight but I didn't get to them (my first playthrough) until much later in the game and they were pretty easy by then. TBH, you don't even need to beat them to beat the game if you are going for an any % playthrough. I'm sure I skipped them during my under 5 hour any % achievement attempts. The most important thing in the area is the mantis claw (wall jump item) which you can get before reaching them. And with the Goldeneye 007 Control level where you’re fighting against the Janus guards that are coming from around the computer center that you’re not quick with your reflexes while you’re defending Natalya, to deorbit the Goldeneye satellite.

After the tutorial, the first thing i saw was a huge knight on a horse with a halberd that could one hit kill me and i thought "ah i see why everyone is moaning and congratlated myself on my "try before buy " idea. Now years later i find that its fully open world and i didnt need to go that way and could avoid him till i leveled qnd so bought it and was a lot cheaper nowadays lol and when i killed him this time i cant even equip his weapons cos they had such high strength so ut was all definitely my fault but i saved a lot of money waiting so long

The first one that comes to mind is the final dungeon in Final Fantasy III. It isn't really hard if you know what you're doing. But trust me, the first time around is brutal. It is a double-dungeon that can take almost 2 hours and there are 6 bosses with NO save points. I originally had it on DS, then i eventually downloaded it on my phone and thankfully I discovered a cheat/glitch where if you know youre about to get a game over, you can just exit the app and it will start you off right in front of the boss. What was particularly irritating is the fact that the game kind of expects you to spend time leveling up. *spoilers maybe?* but the final boss is level 60 and if you play straight through the main story, you will not reach that level. Also it's literally impossible to attempt a low-level game. I think the lowest i was ever able to complete it at was 46/47. What sucks even more is that she has a move that will literally hit your whole party for 75% of their HP after you get her for half of hers, and it is pretty mucy based on luck because she may or may not use it EVERY turn, and you better hope your healer gets their move in before she gets to use it again. Because she gets 4 attacks per round, and otherwise you can expect a game over unless you're very overpowered. Another one is Paper Mario: TTYD, an optional dungeon called Pit of 100 Trials. Also takes about 2 hours with no save point. It's 100 floors. The boss at the end isn't particularly hard when you have the right equipment. One time i played through it though and my dumb ass forgot to change my equipment before i jumped down to the final floor and the boss fight initiates as soon as you get there. At that point it was too late lol i was so pissed. Last one i can think of is Final Fantasy X-2's optional dungeon. It also has 100 floors, with five bosses (the last one also being the second hardest boss in the game). Fortunately enough they were a bit more forgiving because you could literally warp back up and save, and still return to where you left off. It's just so tedious because the random encounters get difficult and you can only avoid them by escaping.

@@권용대-b5v That wasn't my issue, it was those god damn reindeer that gank squaded you all the way to Lud and Zallen, meaning a straight run back wasn't very likely. Lud and Zallen were a bitches in their own right, having to fight two tigers at once, so it was tough to lose any life on the way there. Honestly, the limited respawn mechanic might have been the only reason I beat it, since I was eventually able to despawn the reindeer. But the fact that they don't have a set spawn like all the other enemies in the game made even that a chore.

God of War Series. Most levels in all video games of God of War (either the classic one during the Greek period or the recent one during the Viking era) have numerous areas that are hard to beat. For example: In God of War 3, you must fight your way through the Labyrinth while avoiding some death traps until you rescued the Pandora. Enemies you encountered in this level are more aggressive and can kill you in a single hit, even in harder difficulties.

Two of the levels covered in the video were very manageable for me: -Playing with Ashley (Resident Evil 4): The only thing I really had to worry about was making sure that the lanterns hit the targets. Otherwise it was a breeze for me, even on Pro difficulty. -The Great Maze (Super Smash Bros. Brawl): Brawl is not a weak entry in the series at all, and I am dead serious when I say that it's the best entry of all. But pack to the point at hand, it wasn't difficult to navigate as long as I had a map to reference. And I had no problem with replaying familiar environments as they were all enjoyable beginning to end. What was frustrating to me when it came to video game levels are: -Grass Trial (Pokémon Sun/Moon): If you want a weak entry of a particular game series, here's the Alola Era of Pokémon. The trial in Lush Jungle is pretty manageable, except for Stoutland Search being unwieldy enough for player to easily lose track of hidden items being searched for. But the thing about it that really makes this trial frustrating is Totem Lurantis. I spent more of the battle healing my Pokémon than doing damage to an opponent who kept hitting hard and healing frequently, made no better by it being a one against two battle. S.O.S. battles will never be missed especially when it comes to Sun/Moon's miserable answer to Gym Battles. -Mad Moxie's Underdome Riot (Borderlands): Enter a given arena and you have to go through 5 rounds of 5 waves of enemies. Blow one of the rounds in the middle and you're sent back at the start of that round best case scenario, or sent back a round or two worst case. The further into any arena you go, the much harder it gets and the much harder it is to keep yourself alive. Clearing one of the arenas was nothing short of a miracle, but after continuously getting screwed over in the others I rage quit the Underdome. Never again! -The True Arena (Kirby Triple Deluxe): The Arena in that game was an absolute breeze having cleared it on my first try without breaking a sweat. The True Arena is the perfect Polar Opposite. Some bosses took a painfully long time to beat. Pyribbit was the worst. Queen Sectonia was relentless and hard-hitting, and I was relying on Stone Ability so that I wasn't running such a risk of getting murdered. And if I died after clearing the first five bosses and mini bosses, it would be more than 25 minutes wasted. Worst Boss Endurance in a Kirby game ever.

Dishonorable Mentions: *The First Level - Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty -At first, this level doesn't seem too bad, but at the end of this soft pitch is... ONE OF THE HARDEST BOSSES IN THE GAME, ZHANG LIANG, GENERAL OF MAN! This is the cruelest first boss I've ever faced! And again, this in the early game too, you DON'T have a lot of options at this point! Screw you Zhang Liang, go away and let Zhuyan be the first boss! *Cortex Castle - Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time -The final stretch at the end of the level is RIDICULOUS! Which is especially frustrating because the Flashback Tape is near the end of this ultimate challenge. *Temple Of The Ocean King - The Legend Of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass -Give other bad dungeons credit, at least you only have to do them ONCE (TWICE at most). But this dungeon is another story entirely! This dungeon sucks the life out of you! But you get the Phantom Hourglass, which will protect you from the life-draining effects, but only for a given time (which IS upgradable). The dungeon also has phantom enemies that require stealth to get around and will kill you instantly if they catch you. But that's not the biggest problem, the biggest problem is that this dungeon SEVERELY overstays it's welcome because you have to do it 5 TIMES and the puzzles inside RESET EVERY TIME YOU LEAVE! *Flame Hyenard's Stage, The Lava Factory - Mega Man X7 -How fitting that the worst boss in the series from the worst game in the X series would ALSO get the worst level in the series! It's filled to the brim with annoyingly placed enemies and bombs which are so inconsistent as to when they decide they want to go off! Even if you just creep up on them, more often than not, you'll get unlucky and they'll go off anyway or an enemy will knock you into their range and you'll get blasted. But that's not all, there are also Reploids near these bombs and that feeds into another problem: If any attack so much as lightly graces a Reploid, they die, PERMANENTLY! And unless you have a guide or played before, you'll have no idea which ones will give you power ups. Enemies also have a tendency to spawn in right in your face. And all of this is capped off with one of the worst boss fights of all time! Flame Hyenard isn't insanely difficult, just INSANELY ANNOYING!
